RC Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that anyone can create a meeting but if that person has to log off, they can turn over "ownership" to anyone else on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the links don't work, and instead they will prompt you to upgrade or download some updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to have quick daily meetings and if someone is talking you can utilize the chat option and everyone can participate without cutting each other off.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to always stay up-to-date with the updates, so that it will run smoothly.
Remote Meeting Tool For Meeting With Consultants
What do you like best about the product?
-Simple application to use
-Good performance for audio, video, and screensharing
-Good performance for audio, video, and screensharing
What do you dislike about the product?
-There doesn't seem to be an easy way to include a link in email to open directly to a RingMeetings meeting. The links take you to the Ring website, download a client, and then launch the client, regardless if you already have the client installed.

Consultant company that have hired uses Ring as their meeting manager, and having the app let's us easily set up meetings with them versus having to add them to our Office365 instance to effectively use Teams.
We love ringcentral
What do you like best about the product?
The meetings work very well. They are easy to schedule and we haven't had anyone have any issues other than their own connectivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike so far. scheduling a meeting is right through outlook, so there's no additional steps that are required to put it on my calendar like some other apps meeting software I have used in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingCentral Meetings has helped us cut out a lot of travel for meetings. We now do them virtually, and everyone gains back anywhere from 1-3 days of productivity. This is huge for sales people that could be the difference in a sale or a missed opportunity.
Problematic & terrible support
What do you like best about the product?
The admin web interface is easy to use and there are a lot of good features in our offering such as Monitor, Barge, Whisper.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call quality is not consistent at all. Audio will drop about 30 seconds into the call and the quality of the connections is pretty poor when the audio doesn't drop out. When asking support engineers to assist, they will cold call out the blue and will try to troubleshoot the issue and ultimately blame it something that's not on their side such as a Huawei router causing issues because of the factory settings and will prompt you to acquire "new" routers that have been discontinued by their manufacturers (yes, the KB isn't up to date with current hardware models. They're all end-of-life models).
If for some reason you do end up being assisted but can't take the call because you're on a meeting, expect a long and arduous process to get someone to try you again because they don't try very hard.
The analytics are also pretty buggy and don't reflect many changes that are made via the admin interface and when you escalate a ticket, you get a response claiming that the values will update in 24 hours (it's been at least a month...).

Provisinioning phone lines is a breeze
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best look elsewhere for a telephony provider
RingCentral is a Great User Friendly service for your business
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the user friendly aspect. It takes less than 3 minutes to set up a meeting or webinar. I like that it can automatically record the session so you don't have to remember yourself. I like that it can save the text in the chat box feature in case there is a lively discussion you want to go back to. I like that you can practice in the meeting or webinar as many times as you want without messing anything up when the live broadcast comes (that is very helpful for inexperienced speakers).
What do you dislike about the product?
The things i dislike are mostly trivial. I dislike that you can only have three featured speakers on the registration page. Some sessions we had more than three speakers and we had to double up and feature two speakers on one profile. We created a duel photo and put both their bios in the one field. It was a work around, but would have been much cleaner if we could have entered as many speakers as we needed. I also dont like that you can not edit where the branding logos go on the registration page or in the emails. Our company logo is often to the side of the page and not centered. It makes us the end user look unprofessional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved quite a few problems using RingCentral meetings. Due to the Covid crisis of 2020, our national conference was cancelled. In order to continue to serve our constituents we had to pivot to an online forum. In leiu of our conference we were able to set up several online educational series using RingCentral Meetings. These educational sessions were spread out over the summer and helped us keep in contact with our members while we couldn't be with them. This move from in person to online with RingCentral meetings also helped us keep our conference sponsorship money which saved our jobs.
RingCentral Meetings Meets Almost All Our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like that RingCentral Meetings allows for easy creation and hosting of virtual meetings, with a variety of options, including scheduling on behalf of others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I cannot change which user I've set a meeting for without deleting the initial meeting (ex: I schedule for 2 advisors - if I accidentally schedule a RC meeting for one of them but want to switch it to the other I have to delete & start over).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of in-person meetings during a global pandemic and working face-to-face with out-of-state clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out! It's easy to use and can help solve your need for a virtual meeting software, as well as allow your team members to connect with each other and clients. I recommend choosing a version with as many features as possible. Our organization has disabled the use of the in meeting chat feature, which would be helpful in a meeting of a large group size.
A custom version of Zoom meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The special features like adding a background image or graphics or photo or facourite pic. For instance you can talk infront of mountains in the background. The group chat window looks so good that you can see many people at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance is not good. Sometimes you may miss important meetings. So when you click on join meeting it may say waiting for the host. Indeed the meeting has started. It silently downloads some things in the back ground everytime you open the desktop app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows wrong meeting time when waiting for the host. I REALIZED it is far better than Slack
RingCentral Meetings It has turned out to be an excellent option when making my video calls
What do you like best about the product?
It has turned out to be an excellent option when making my video calls since it has a fairly simple interface to use, and the audio and video quality are excellent, which allows communication to be fluid throughout the conversation, Another thing that I love is the fact that it allows me to make recordings of the calls I'm in, in a very practical way since it gives me the option to choose if I need to record only audio or if on the contrary I need to record only the video or even allows me to record both together, this is a function that I find super useful, especially after conducting my work meetings, if I have any questions or do not remember something, I can simply listen to the recording again and easily dispel my doubts without having to call someone again to explain what needs to be done, for me it has become a very valuable tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being in the screen sharing function, the sound made by the mouse when clicking any element on the screen is very loud, which is somewhat overwhelming for the rest of the attendees in the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to maintain direct communication with my co-workers while we carry out our teleworking tasks each from their home, this has been very useful to maintain the rhythm of work we had before quarantine, where our productivity It was quite high compared to other work teams of our same institution but that was impacted by the quarantine and it was reduced a little, but thanks to this tool we have been able to help each other again to increase our efficiency ...
Doesn't Always Ring + Terrible Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the notification options - email, text, push, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is incredibly complicated to set up, especially compared to Jive, which we came from. Their promise of meeting competitor pricing is not completely accurate and they will do anything to get out of it. It is pricey compared to alternatives. The support is terrible - it takes forever to get through to someone and they usually mess up the phone line worse than it originally was. Call routing is tedious and not user friendly. The phone does not actually ring for every call on iOS, but they refuse to admit it is an issue. You cannot see a call waiting if you're on the line, so if you're talking to a technician you can't see that a customer is calling in to hang up on the technician and take the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can answer the phone when customers call - if the phone actually rings on the softphone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If using iOS softphone, don't do it. Beware of price/promises of price matching. Setup is hard and will likely take multiple days to get it right. Test every change they make - not everyone on the support team understands what you are saying and will mess up your lines.
Clear Sound, Easy to Use and Great Features
What do you like best about the product?
The multiple features allows you to maximize your time, with multi-tasking. Texting, calls, messaging system. Awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system gets overloaded and may time -out or freeze
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The influx of calls can be intimidating without a reliable system. We are able to engage with our customers in a timely fashion which allows us to set the pace for a great business relationship.
