Ring Central menages keep office communications simple
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; phone, video calls, messaging
What do you dislike about the product?
While with ring central, I can take calls at my desk, from my PC, or my cell phone, I do sometimes have issues with receiving notifications. Sometimes I don't get notified of a phone call or message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ring central, I can easily communicate with anyone in my organization. I can either use my cell phone, work phone, or the main company number. We can have meeting on it, group messages and even send messages to the whole company at once. This makes communications very easy througout the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into free options as well. Ring central is very good with its cell phone, land line, and computer integrations.

Ability to have large group teams chat!!

Bit of a learning curve but pretty easy to get the hang of
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having to send a company wide email for small things, we can use the single company wide chat on RingCentral
RingCentral Meetings is a great way to connect

It is a great way to connect easily with my co-workers.

At this point in time, there is nothing I dislike about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with co-workers no matter where we are makes is so much easier to communicate about various things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you haven't used RingCentral Meetings yet, you don't know what you're missing. This program is wonderful and easy to use!
Calls drop often, can't share screen effectively.
What do you like best about the product?
There's very little to like about Ringcentral compared to the other video conferencing apps out there these days

It's very unreliable. Many times, prospective customers or investors are not able to join a call/see my screenshare/figure out how to make audio work

We tried to get a good video conferencing solution that would scale with our business so eventually sales reps could use it to make customer calls. We haven't seen the value of ring central
Ring Central Meetings and VOIP
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is that we can add a virtual number to RingCentral Phone and use that for Video Calling.
I also like the chat option, syncing to google calendar and call recording :)
It also allows forming teams and enables the creation of separate contact lists for personal and professional use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I open the meeting link from Google Calendar, it always asks me to choose between opening it on the browser or the app. It does not remember my choice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in India, and my clients are in the US, and this helps me connect to them on their cell phones as well through the calling feature. I can even bridge Ringcentral with my sales platform Hubspot and SalesForce, which is a huge advantage.
Average video call app
What do you like best about the product?
It works for what it's supposed to - it allows you to call and video chat others who do or don't also have a RingCentral account. If others don't have an account, they can still access meetings through your links.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the video quality is grainier than it should be for 2021, though this might be more of an issue with the webcam. Calls lag somewhat frequently, which again could be for reasons outside of RingCentral's control. For instance, every couple of minutes my video feed goes dark for a second.
I hate that you can't preview your video before joining a call with it. I even though I changed the setting to enable a preview, but that obviously wasn't what that setting was for. Considering other video conferencing platforms allow for previewing, I don't see any reason to choose RingCentral over them.

It's easy to work remotely and still have meetings, even company-wide ones.
Excellent Video/Call/Text Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's a secure, intuitive communications service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint is that when you schedule a video meeting with specific dates through Ring Central, when it transfers over into Outlook, the date changes so you have reinput the correct dates and times for the meeting. For some reason, Outlook changes the dates and times that you have set up in ring central.

Ring Central constantly tries to improve their product.
Whitelabeled Zoom - but with issues
What do you like best about the product?
integrates well w/ my Ring Central phone app
What do you dislike about the product?
hard for people outside firm to use vs zoom. You can launch via web without the Ring app, but it's not inuitive and often we'll lose 5 minutes in the beginning with an external user figuring everything out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great setup experience
What do you like best about the product?
Setup and onboarding was great, simple. Account manager spent the time going through setting me up, I wasn't forwarded from a sales guy to a tech guy and so on so forth, which I think is rare in this day and age. The backend system aswell as the soft phone applications are very simple to use and feature rich. We most likely won't use 50% of them but nice to have the ability to use them. There selection of phone numbers is amazing too I got some really good phone numbers for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too early to tell, haven't had any service errors just yet. That was my only concern about their service but I'm yet to experience it

Multiple lines with their own IVRs that are able to go to the same staff.

Solid performance on standard functionality, but is limited in customizations.
What do you like best about the product?
The product integrates well in Salesforce Lightning. The widget is intuitive and links directly to all phone numbers within the record. From there, calls log easily to the tasks object allowing us to track activity levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the tool records it's call information cannot be customized / redirected to log data elsewhere. The data point often used with these types of tools is often logged as an "outbound call", but some companies classify it differently. This cannot be changed and will actually overwrite any other values the tool let's you choose. We implemented our own workaround, but the lack of documentation on their limitations added additional dev hours on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool allows Sales to call from within their browser or cell phones easily. We realized allowing Sales to easily switch between "work mode" and "travel" raised call output. With less disruption in workflow, downtime is minimized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good tool just know it's limitations by demoing the product thoroughly with subject matter experts.
