SpiraTest is best tool for BugTracking and prioritizing and plan for specific releases

  • June 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It can able to create, edit and manage the project releases, pushing policies and categorizing the criticality of the project(prioritizing).

It has automated or default use cases, where it will run those test cases and gives fruitful results.

Also, along with automated scripts, it allowed the admin to write the manual use cases for improvement.

Bug detection is the main and important feature to highlight. It can be to detect the critical and low-impact bugs, which will help in pre-production to fix these issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default use-cases are not that efficient to detect low-impact bugs, however, we can overcome them and take the help of the support team.

Sometimes, I have observed some performance issues. I hope this will be resolved with software updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Manual work is reduced while using SpiraTest. Many automated test cases are there.

The centralized overview of all projects gives a clear picture of what's happening around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I strongly recommend this to small and large scale industries as it is an allrounder which has many features. It will reduce the manual work of employees and make tasks easy and automated.

What do you like best about the product?
SpiraTest is powerful software because it allows us to detect the errors in the tests, the previous and future mistakes. The system is quick to use, the options to manage the tests are precise and direct for the sought results. It is easy to use because it is ahead of what users are looking for since it is automatic. The support service responds quickly to our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up this software can be confusing, but it went very well for us because the technical support team helped us through the entire installation process, and it was very fast, thanks to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improves traceability in tests; now, the percentage of errors is almost zero. The ways to manage the tests are many and allow us to carry out a good follow-up of bugs without being complicated without carrying out many procedures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Running tests with SpiraTest is the easiest and most effective thing in the world, the analysis is accurate, and the results allow us to make no more mistakes. In addition, another advantage of acquiring SpiraTest is that we use it from our phones or computers; we do not need to be in the office because we can do it from the comfort of our mobile devices.

Great Balance of Price, Newer Technology, Feature List and Support

  • May 11, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Excellent Technical/Customer Support. Both knowledgeable and personable!
2. Easy to use UI.
3. Great integration with their companion Automated Testing product – Rapise.
4. Ability to add Custom fields and Lists in many parts of the application.
5. Excellent support for creating Requirements that can be converted automatically to Test Cases.
6. Great dashboards for monitoring nearly all stages of testing and reporting.
7. Ability to integrate with GitHub. Not just for Version Management, but GitHub is very efficient at transferring/storing large amounts of data in a very timely manner. It can also be used as an alternative to TFS when using DevOps.
8. Built-in support/integration with Microsoft DevOps. Although we’re not ready to use this yet, it is a MUST HAVE for our automated regression testing. We intend to trigger the Spira tests to run by having DevOps push a change in build # into Spira. SpiraTeam can be configured to run ‘On Change in Build Number', so this process should be completely automated (once the regression testing scripts and SpiraTeam are set up.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Separate (customizable) directory structures for Requirements, Test Cases, Test Sets, and Documents provide a ton of flexibility when creating these records. However, with that Flexibility, I’ve found it difficult to keep the directory areas somewhat similar so that when I’m looking at the directory for Requirements, I know where in the directory of Test Cases to find the related Test Case. Once the Test Case has been linked to the original requirement, Spira provides a link to easily navigate between Requirements and related Test Cases within either record, but I like the ability to make that move without having to open the Requirement or Test case record first. By carefully maintaining the Directory structures in different locations, I've been able to move past this.
2. Website Knowledge Base – I've had some difficulty searching and locating relevant items in Inflectra’s Knowledge base. I love a new feature in Inflectra's companion product Rapise that displays context-sensitive functions, Knowledge Base Articles, and other documentation in a panel on the right side of the screen. Now it’s very easy to locate Rapise KB articles and other documentation without ever leaving the Rapise development area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we’re using Rapise/Spira for a mix of automated and manual testing. As the automated testing increases, the testing process is going faster and getting done with fewer Testing resources. While we haven’t realized this benefit yet, using Spira with DevOps will fill one of the gaps in making our product a true SAAS product. That’s the ultimate goal, and Spira is going to help us get there!

Excellent tool to test your projects

  • April 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SpiraTest is a program that I use very frequently. I like its design and the functions it offers. The program by itself carries out tests as the project is structured; this greatly facilitates the work of the organizers since it advances the manual review. I like the feeling that you are always in control of what you are doing, and with this software, it is very safe to go step by step, validating and checking the effectiveness of what you are creating. With SpiraTest, we can validate the implementation of the project in real users and prevent the true development of the project in situations that are fully in line with reality.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to work in SpiraTest with a more significant number of test cases. The program is quite fast, but for large projects, it would be advisable to improve the export and import processes to reduce work times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SpiraTest is a very complete tool for checking the effectiveness of projects. As a project manager in SpiraTest, you can easily assign roles to members without involving other parts of the project. Among its benefits, it stands out that it can generate reports as requested or needed, it quickly detects problems that may arise, facilitating immediate correction. SpiraTest has a remote way of working, so you can access your projects whenever necessary. The programming department constantly performs quality checks on the programming with the help of SpiraTest.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this tool to other users as it is very ingenious and intuitive. With SpiraTest, you can monitor the operation of the pages created in your company or for your company and validate that there are no problems with them and that their work is the most optimal. Without a doubt, an innovative work experience offers you SpiraTest, and at a comfortable price.

It is a tool for evaluating and executing executable tests that allow the user to alternately view each process of their project. It has a fairly fast interface in terms of execution and quality management, it allows the integration of various formats and systems which makes it a good tool for those in charge of business development tasks, which gives them a greater range of visualization to create each activity adapted to your requirements as a professional or as a company

It is a tool that requires knowledge in the area of business development, but I do not consider it to be an inaccessible or adaptable tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to program shared agendas, which helps us to stay organized as a team, and by this I mean that it is the function that we use the most since this tool is quite flexible and adaptable to the position and the industry in which we work because it is also we can from your platform present models of our projects without problems

We also have complete reports that allow us to visualize and understand them easily. It improves workflow because it has simple adaptability systems in place, which has helped us enhance workflow since the beginning.

I like its very modern interface and quite good and fluid, its implementation was easy. It is beneficial to manage tests and observe errors in one place and also offers integration with different tools through extensions, and another positive point is its low price.

Easy to use and best customer support from inflectra. It has so much of great features integrated in it, which is really helpful for software testers.

I don't think anything to dislike in spira test, it has lot of good features built in it. Only thing that can be improvised is its user interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly it helps the functional testers for managing testcases and for Automation testers the test scripts is very easy to handle with spira test. Other important thing is integration with rapise is big advantage.

Great for Test Cases

  • April 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is user-friendly in the most genuine sense of the word. I like how it organizes test requirements. It breaks it down into tiny bits to ensure every part is moving and achievable within a given time frame, much like a project management tool. I also like being able to roll out test products to people on the outside instead of having our IT team do the testing themselves. This helps us ultimately manage expectations and gives us a good idea of what to expect. It provides us with excellent reporting on test cases and helps us build better generally.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they have to work on its integration capabilities. I would like to be able to integrate it with other software and be able to pull up metrics conveniently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With SpiraTest, I have been able to carry out tests and manage our quality assurance programs. It helps us know exactly what we need to improve before hitting the market and gives us a good view of customer expectations. It works for us
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has only a few downsides. I think it is worth giving a try
