Yext: Mostly Good But Could Use Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Yext has a very easier interface for me to update my financial advisors' websites. It is quite intuitive and really simple to use. Everything I need to find can easily be found using Ctrl+F.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like for a Draft feature to be made available. It would help save time if I were to get an edit rejected or if I just wanted to show my advisor what their website would look like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext is great with customer support and always has a terrific response upon reaching out to them.

What do you like best about the product?
Yext helps us manage our brand presence across the web—from search engines to maps to social media—all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes It is a little slow with customer service. Although the service is helpful and most of the time there are resolutions the response rate can sometimes be 24-36 hours. For a brand like ours with 45+ locations we have to help manage alot of locations and sometimes this delay in customer support is really frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We just recently had a serious issue with Google where they suspended our listing for like the 3-4th time. They were not accepting our videos for verification and it was extremely troublesome but with the help of Chris he was able to get in direct contact of Google to get it resolved.

The different option available for customization and the ability to link text.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some modules are unavailable, which makes it hard to edit it to your liking.

What do you like best about the product?
Yext is very easy to use and navigate through the process of creating/editing a website. Customer support is excellent and always reachable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating to the approvals page is not as straight forward as it could be.

It is helping employees easily build websites for their teams
Learning Curve That Pays Off if You Strategize
What do you like best about the product?
Yext has been great for bulk updating information across all of our locations and providers! It makes it easy for updating holiday hours, scheduling Google Business Profile updates, and adding information such as the company logo across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext isn't a plug-n-play platform. You need to have a strategic approach to listing management before you start and make sure you have the time to effectively launch the platform. You need an extensive amount of time to fill out all the profile information to get the full benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us send out up-to-date information across the web, especially for local SEO. We wouldn't have a hope of keeping all of that information updated across the board otherwise.
One spot to see it all
What do you like best about the product?
Yext offers a single location to view most if not all of the data you might be looking for regarding your online presence. We have used the customer support and it was outstanding. The gentleman I spoke with answered all of my questions and helped get us set up for monthly analysis reports to be emailed to myself and marketing specialist.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit intimidating to use initially because of the broad capabilities the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yext provides a one stop shop centralizing all online data analytics for review and optimization.

Run. Just Run. Worst Customer Support I’ve Encountered in 12 Years
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and maintaining listings. Updating all directories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support, customer support, customer support — or in Yext’s case, the total lack of it. I’ve worked in marketing for over a decade, and I have never encountered customer service this bad — not even close.
It’s not just slow… it’s nonexistent. Account managers? Ghosts. Support tickets? Black hole. Follow-up? Forget about it. Emails are ignored, escalations go nowhere, and you’re left completely in the dark when you need help the most.
We’ve been a Yext customer for 3 years — far too long. This is absolutely our final year, and I would strongly caution anyone considering them: Don’t make the same mistake we did. When something goes wrong (and it will), you’ll be completely on your own.

Nothing that nobody else isn't. They own the listings, so if you leave, you lose all the progress. But customer support is more important to me and it does not exist at Yext.
