What do you like best about the product?
The activity timeline is extremely complete and intuitive. You can find valuable info you need to connect with prospects within seconds. I also like that you can make calls and send email sequences within HubSpot, without an integration required. HubSpot definitely is the best balance between a customized and easy to use tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be more flexible with simple stuff, for example having dependent fields within records, showing customized error messages when we don't fill out a specific required field, blocking skipping deals.

HubSpot Sales Hub empowers our organization when onboarding and managing partnerships
What do you like best about the product?
What we like most about Sales Hub is that we're able to have proper segmentation for our teams, create custom layouts and properties for the different departments, set required fields, and create custom reports. The custom objects are highly beneficial, especially since our teams have different needs - One team might want to keep track of zip codes, whereas another one only tracks the cities. With Sales Hub we can pick and choose, by team, the most relevant properties to make visible in the left sidebar. In addition to that, these custom properties can be set as required fields as our reps are moving deals through the Pipeline. If we want to ensure that a certain piece of information, like customer base, has been recorded before a deal reaches the "Contracting" stage of the pipeline, we can request that piece of information during the "Solutioning" stage. The Sales Hub custom reporting has been a huge help in leveraging our data as well. We've created multiple dashboards with reports that pull information from all records - contact, company, deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was more functionality when it comes to the reports. We can't create a "time spent in pipeline stage" report that shows the total amount of time a deal has spent in its current stage, because HubSpot doesn't have a "todays date" property. If we want to find out how many active users we have, we can't create a report that shows that. It would also be great if we could have conditional properties and dynamic reports where we can pull not only the current value for a property but all its historical values too. In regards to integrations, we had hoped for more bidirectional syncs. It seems like most HubSpot integrations only allow for data to travel in one direction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Hub has provided us with the tools we need to optimize and automate our onboarding experience. It has made the process easy to track and manage. We now know where each deal stands in our Pipeline and can collaborate on how to move forward. Instead of having to remember to send out a specific email once a deal is won, we can automate the email send and set the deal stages as triggers. With recurring tasks, our account managers are notified/reminded of when it's time to touch base with a partner. Managers have a lot more visibility and can keep track of completed tasks through automated and custom reporting.

A solid tool overall with a few pricey limitations
What do you like best about the product?
It's really good at keeping everything in one place without feeling bloated or overly complicated. You can make it complicated if you want, but you can also keep it pretty bare-bones. It's pretty clean, easy to customize, and is simple to track deals, follow-ups, and pipeline stages without a bunch of manual upkeep. It's great at automating specific tasks, like building and managing email sequences, lead rotation, tasks/reminders, and giving real time insight into what's working or not working, without needing to loop in a developer or mess with a bunch of different tools. For small teams trying to move fast and stay organized, it's clutch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve and can seem pretty overwhelming if you're new to it all. My main gripe is that a lot of the more advanced features (some automation like if/then logic, forecasting and lead scoring, user permissions, some sequencing features), and some pretty basic features (some reporting features, user roles, revenue tracking, etc.), are locked behind higher-tier plans, so it can get expensive fast if you want to scale or do anything more complex. That added some pretty large hurdles in the earlier days of the business when cash was tight. Some of the automation and reporting limitations at the lower tiers felt a bit restrictive as well. Also, it is user-friendly, there are some parts that feel a little rigid, like you have to work the way HubSpot wants, not necessarily the way you or your team wants to work. Side issue is that whenever you speak with someone, it feels like the conversation always leads to trying to sell you something or upgrade your account in some way. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped clean up the chaos of juggling thousands of leads, follow-ups, and deals across a bunch of disconnected tools. I was first doing everything on spreadsheets and Google docs, then moved to the free version of Hubspot. Once we started growing rapidly, instead of tracking everything in spreadsheets or manually remembering who to chase, we utilized HubSpot more to keep it all in one place and automates a lot of the busywork like follow-ups, reminders, lead assignment, and deal tracking. That saved a ton of time and made it way easier to stay on top of everything without letting stuff slip through the cracks. It helped us implement a more legit sales/CS process without needing a huge team, which led to better outcomes and more revenue overall. A small investment can go a long way.
