Solid CRM choice with lots of flexibility

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot overall thrives on customizability regarding what kind of data you wish to track and act on (i.e., custom properties). Considering my particular business has a lot of unique features to it, we use many custom properties and track things perhaps differently than a typical SaaS company would.
With Sales specific functionality, I do like that it comes with many options already built-in, such as easy call logging and tracking via mobile, easily connect meeting links, and so on, without a specific need to use the marketplace to find other apps (but that's always an option).

They have a great support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that straightforward. Campaign tracking and creation, different reports, etc., can have a bit of a learning curve to understand HOW Hubspot views your data and wants you to think about your data. Thus I often find myself thinking less about how *I* specifically want to see something and more "How can I make it work for me while following Hubspot's rules that I sometimes don't get?" I don't have a concrete example, but this can be compared to how other sales tools and CRMs handle onboarding. This may be because Hubspot's not JUST Hubspot Sales Hub; it's several tools with different-yet-related purposes vs. other tools being more focused on one thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My sales team needs to work. I need to be able to make reports and see the data relevant to our activities. Hubspot is a pretty affordable tool that makes excellent reports and is flexible. Therefore, it does what I need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready to understand that the different pieces of Hubspot are separate tools that work together but are still technically independent - so don't go into every area of the Hubspot interface (sales, marketing tools, support stuff, etc.) expecting all data to show the same info in one place as sometimes it just doesn't work that way.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a comprehensive platform for sales, marketing, lead generation, and analytics.

It could be better in terms of organizing contacts and companies into an intuitive search option.

We are seeing the benefits of our lead generation and modifying how we solicit business to be more productive.

Easy way to track pipeline!

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the Deals dashboard is set up. It makes it very easy to visualize the pipeline and stay on top of accounts by stage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be easier to work contacts right from the account level. I tend to use it in tandem with Outreach for this function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps with organization, making it easy to know where things stand, tracking notes and activity.

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot actually feels like it was designed by people who don't hate their customers. It's intuitive and easy to use, and they introduce steady improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know it's a CRM, not a database, but... it would still be great to have the option of calculated fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run all our customer acquisition through HubSpot. It works cleanly and efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to keep track of deals, who is responsible for the lead or client, and track communications sent to that client. Integration with other products and services was very easy. They make it easy to give access to my marketing team which was nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overpriced and underdelivered. Hubspot sales teams are masters of the attempted upsell. They will talk to you about certain features as though its part of your subscription, so you build up these expectations. When you get past the trial of these features, you're left wanting more. I'm not saying they were outright dishonest, but they let those expectations exist and build during the sales process and did not do a good job of checking my expectations. I suppose my beef is more with the sales and success teams more than the product itself. However, I can't have one without the other...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were keeping track of clients. Reducing missed opportunities. We wanted to have a way to keep track of what commissions were owed. We didn't get that far with the product before switching due to cost and functionality but we feel that it would have done the job for us in this respect.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that HubSpot allows you to utilize extensions to import information from outside sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dissociation of some of the exported information and the creation of new companies that will then need to be continually merged with originals as they develop.

Great for Sales or Marketing

What do you like best about the product?
I love all things integration - I love that HS connects to my Outlook, it has created more efficiency for me as a salesperson, so I'm not having to go and manually enter all my email communications or meeting invites.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I uncheck the buttons on my Outlook not to log the meeting, but I'll review the HS thread later, and it still logged that communication. Not a big deal, but it's the only thing I noticed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency. At my old job, I had to manually enter (copy+paste) every email communication sent or received, very tedious!!! My Sales Manager was having us reach Activity goals of 400 each month, so imagine having to enter up to, or exceeding manually, 400 email communications each month. So I got a new job, and they utilize HS - I have rekindled some much time each day!!!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the intuitiveness of HubSpot. Everything in HubSpot seems logical and natural both in entering activities and creating reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is the limit of 20 reports per dashboard. The fix is simply creating another dashboard. Simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to guess at what is happening with my team or wait for the end of the day or end of the week for updates. HubSpot gives me real-time information on activities and deals progress. A surprise benefit that I discovered is the ease of entering information into HubSpot by the reps. In the past with other CRMs, I ran into resistance from the salespeople when they had to enter info into the system.
With HubSpot, I find the ease of entering data and the ability to work with the smartphone app actually translates into more data coming into HubSpot by the rep without the complaining and resistance I saw in other CRMs. This is a huge benefit to me and a relief for the rep. Easier entry of data means more compliance and happier reps! Also, the reports available in HubSpot are flexible and customizable, and easy to read. This is especially important when it comes to showing the reps where they are and what they need to focus on.
HubSpot is the lifeblood of our sales team and we depend on it to organize and inform us of every part of the sales process.
