Great tool for the price
What do you like best about the product?
Much lighter than Saleforce so people can learn fast and you can build a simple process quickly. Also very cost effective and works great if you're using other Hubspot products as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is more simple it can make it hard to create certain processes that might be unique to your business. Seems like something that would be better for a company that has a short sales process and not for enterprise sales or if you had a customer success team that needed to work out of it as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a sales process
Following up on inbound leads
Making calls and tracking emails
Following up on inbound leads
Making calls and tracking emails
Decent CRM start for hobbiest or small scale start up
What do you like best about the product?
Having a free CRM to start off is a great option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating custom reports isn't the most intuitive, but that may also be because of the influence Salesforce has had on my experience with CRM tools in my previous jobs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking my clients' progress and having a tool to help me schedule my follow ups.
Easy to use and lead management is seamless.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, flow is great, follow up tools and reminders, templates for emails are all excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly. Nothing bothers me. Occasionally the system has a glitch but is fixed right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us maintain a very large sales pipeline. Easy to use and we know exactly where each lead is in the sales stage.

HubSpot Sales Hub - a major plus for our business
What do you like best about the product?
Over the years, as a sales professional that has worked in both sole contributor roles and as a leader of national and international sales and business development teams, I have had the opportunity to implement and use a number of CRM systems including Salesforce, Zoho and Microsoft Dynamics.
I first came across HubSpot around 3 years ago and started using this for my small tech consulting business. I found the solution very easy to use, and particularly like the fact that the HubSpot CRM database sits at the centre of everything. Since joining my current business around 12-months ago, I am using the Sales Hub every day, in conjunction with the Marketing Hub. HubSpot is a critical part of our firm's 'Smarketing' engine and we are actively using HubSpot to drive both inbound and outbound sales and marketing activities. Our company started out just as a user of HubSpot, but having realised the benefits of the system within our own business, we started advising clients to look at the platform, and then became a fully-fledged reseller.
I particularly like the simple, easy to use UI, and also the Deals functionality. We mapped out our sales process and then recreated this in the Deal board within HubSpot. It allows us to accurately track the progress of opportunities through our sales pipelines, keeps us all on top of the tasks that we need to complete in order to progress opportunities, and makes us all accountable for the things that need to happen.
Other things I like and use a lot:
- email templates and text snippets (great for removing some of the mundane tasks associated with emailing prospects and customers
- the Quotation functionality - we use it all the time.
- contact timelines - allows me and the rest of our team to see what has happened.
Any CRM and sales system is only as a good as the data users put in and will only be effective and provide a decent ROI if all your team are following the agreed protocols and processes and use the system properly. It really is the single source of truth for our business (and now also for many of our customers). HubSpot Sales Hub is by far the system I have used most effectively in my career to date.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - I'm very satisfied using HubSpot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot Sales Hub allows us to have a 'single source of truth' for all our customer and prospect contact - rather than having information all over the place in different systems and NOT directly joined up with our marketing activities.
Benefits realised include:
- better forecasting
- shortened sales cycles
- better tracking and ROI assessment of sales and marketing activities

Best free CRM for any business user
What do you like best about the product?
Pipeline management of deals, contact management, integration with email services, email tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost everything out there is very useful. There is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email tracking - we know when the contact has viewed our mail
Contact management - automatically managing contacts and deals
Sales pipeline - tracking deal progress and one holistic view of accounts

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Must try CRM
An incredibly powerful tool with some unfortunate glitches
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that everything (contacts, deals, all communication, records, etc.) are pulled together in one single place. The Caller ID for Android phones that can automatically log calls is also very helpful. I like being able to tag team members and assign tasks. Adding endless Properties is helpful for sorting and managing Contacts and Deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that Hubspot automatically merges contacts and that it cannot be undone is the bane of my existence. There's also dozens of duplicate deals and Hubspot doesn't automatically suggest merges. Ideally Hubspot would merge Deals with a review process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making better use of Deal stages and automated workflow to send 'personalized' emails to customers who don't respond to or generic outreach while they're in the pipeline. i.e. I select a set of deals and edit their deal stage all at once to a certain stage which triggers a specific email being sent.
We're also looking into integrating a referral service (like Rock Referral) into Hubspot Sales.

Very useful CRM, the template function is particularly useful when you have a large list of contacts
What do you like best about the product?
The way contacts are organised. The ability to use certain Sales features like leads, deals and quotes. The template function which allows a pre-drafted content including attachment to be sent to multiple contacts. The notifications on reads and opens.
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly, the price could be more friendly to smaller firms.
Next, there is some inaccuracy in the read notifications for some contacts, especially those on CC. This could be sharpened.
One major problem is when we use the same browser for multiple email accounts. My personal emails to my dad, from a different account, gets logged into my business account with my dad as a client. I need to manually untick the log and track options. This needs to be sorted.

Gets me a better understanding of the entire sales related landscape for me, the clients, which stage of communication we are in, what level of potential they have etc. And also, provides me useful insights on their interest, from their opens and clicks. Overall, it gives me a better sense of what is going on.

The best Free CRM
What do you like best about the product?
It is so user friendly and you don't have to pay anything!
What do you dislike about the product?
That you cannot select all contacts to email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients database! I can incorporate with my gmail and store automatically all my conversations!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best CRM and easy to use
Im no CRM expert, but I like the way HubSpot flows!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to store all our contact data on the HubSpot server. Im a huge fan of the templates and snippets feature. I also love using the HubSpot plugin for gmail, I think the log and track feature is awesome! I recently used the chat help-desk to resolve an issue, it had to be escalated to engineering but was still sorted out in a timely fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who is an avid template and snippet user, I dislike the fact that I cant attach documents, PDF's etc to templates. I know I can attached after the fact when sending them, but I would like to be able to have them attached prior.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have managed to use HubSpot Sales in such a way that our sales team now has mostly warm call to make, rather than the pain that is cold calling. The use of workflows has been a godsend.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot Sales is an easy to use tool. Its great for casual users that are only looking to utilize basic features, but also carries a lot more features under the hood for those with more complex ideologies. The tool seems basic at first, but is very powerful at its core. I still find new features everyday and try my best to use the software for all its capabilities.
