Overall easy-to-use, effective platform just lacking some features
What do you like best about the product?
We've been able to customize our CRM needs to a level of detail that works well for our team. The latest design release with the 3 columns of information on a contact/company took a little while to get used to but now I find myself enjoying it much better than the old layout. It's also nice that the log emails/notes/calls/activities function opens up a box at the bottom instead of taking you away from the page you're currently working on within the contact/company. It also saves the work as I'm navigating between things. There's also the ability to add parent/child companies which is great for chapter based organizations that have one national office where all funds go. The integration with Gmail is also invaluable as we log emails and automatically get contacts added into the CRM when responding to messages that may have new team members added to the conversation. Our supervisor and individual teammates have also been able to create customized reports to track our progress in outreach. It's great to see which templates and sequences we've created are most effective in getting an "open" or "responded to" designation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability duplicate/copy deals is a source of massive frustration considering I was able to do it with most CRM's I've used in my professional career (e.g. Pipedrive; Salesforce). The search function has gotten better over the last year but it's still lacking in identifying and warning you of when you're about to create a duplicate entry. I'd also like the ability to import a spreadsheet of contact information for bulk sequencing instead of having to go contact by contact to get them enrolled. In a previous job, I used both Yesware and MixMax and it was great to be able to upload a large list of contacts (name, organization name, email, and other customizable fields) and edit all of them at once and then enroll them all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team as a whole has gotten more diligent about keeping our contacts and companies organized with the help of the parent and child company designations and we are better about avoiding duplicates thanks to the improved search functionality. The custom reporting and template/sequence tracking also helps us to see which outreach is most effective.
10/10 desktop task manager and CRM for Sales professionals
What do you like best about the product?
I love the reminder functionality and the company timeline setup the most. Through a company's timeline and feed, you can track all communications, meetings, calls, notes made from every member of the team using Hubspot. This ensures there's no overlap in communication and everyone on my side of the team is caught up with the progress made on every lead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the mobile app version of Hubspot is not as functional as I would like. Unless there's an update I'm missing, the functionality is minimal especially when travelling and attending conferences where we meet new leads and would like to have them added right away. The mobile scan for contacts is helpful but there is the added task of refining the leads again once we're back at the office. Hopefully this is something Hubspot is looking into for sales and marketing professionals who spend a lot of time on the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit of using Hubspot, simply put is organizing all our sales pipelines and lead gen processes. AND it helps that it is a very easy platform to use. If you get stranded, there are always helpful videos at Hubspot academy. For the impatient folks, you can also skim through instructions on the help section.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's not worth just signing up for the platform. It is on the higher end of pricing so you have to be 100% sure that you want to use it. And if you are new, make sure you go through Hubspot Academy to make full use of the platform. I'd recommend talking to the sales team to offer a trial and they can work with you to ensure you are getting the most out of it before you commit. Hubspot really is a one stop shop for organizing your whole sales and marketing department. So if you're going to go full in, go full in. Integrate everything and make use of their tools. Otherwise you end up with multiple platforms that just stretch you financially and don't really help organize your professional life.

What do you like best about the product?
All the functions are organised and easy to use. Customer service officers are also very responsive and get back to you within minutes with high-level assistance. There are also many tools that are very helpful for you to keep track of your deals, sales and leads.
Using Hubspot CRM to send marketing emails and email blasts to lists of your contacts is also very helpful and there are also email analytics that help you analyse how well your email has done and there are also A/B testing features for you to test out different variations of your emails.
We are also heavy users of workflows in the Hubspot CRM tool and they are absolutely amazing at helping us automate some of our operational processes.

Reporting tools on analytics could be more developed, especially with regards to deal analytics. Some functions may not be intuitive to use and may need a while of getting used to.
Marketing email function may not be the easiest to use, but they recently launched the new email editor, which has definitely made it easier to use, but also restrictive in terms of design.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve the problem of customer tracking in the operations process because we have a lot of leads and customers and they are all in different stages of the funnel. Using the Hubspot CRM deals tool helps us keep track of where customers are in the funnel and helps remind us of tasks.

Good tool for management of contacts, automation of workflows.

User interface makes it intuitive and easy to learn. Great when training new users!

Some challenges trying to manage and separate different business lines. Getting better as we learn more and new features are released.

Time saving to work on other projects! Minimizing repetitive activities. Increased comfort level that tasks are getting done. Easy adoption from new users.

Ensure you have a prioritized list of top CRM features, integrations, and functions needed. Conversion from other programs can be challenging, understand any concessions required.

Everything is well laid out and intuitive to use.

Not a ton of customization options. Need to be able to personalize more.

Love the Templates
What do you like best about the product?
Templates make my job way more productive and I spend more time on things that matter than I was able too without them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for templates can be a pain sometimes. That's why I keep mine in a folder but subfolders would be helpful too.

I haven't had any so far! These make my job way easier.

Their templates are awesome but some of the email tracking features are off occasionally.
Great for efficiency during your day
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using HubSpot everyday! I've felt my reach out and day has been more efficient since learning to use the platform. Daily Task reminders, easy Template access, and history of outreach per contact is my favorite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would change is when you are using a list you've created in contacts, when you click on that specific contact and try to go back, the list isn't in the exact same spot you left off. Otherwise no big issue if you just open up a new page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to reach out to my lead at the exact time I want to with the task reminders and the notifications that someone clicked on my link or opened my email!

Utilize your notifications, they definitely come handy when doing your outreach.
Essential For My Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to organize my pipeline and the reminders that come straight to my email always keep me on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the revenue tracking was more advanced.

I'm solving staying on top of my accounts, and being able to store all of the account information into the deal provides great visibility for my entire team.
Everything you Need from a CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I've used different CRM systems during my career and they all share something in common, you can send emails, make phone calls and create tasks. Hubspot is more than just that, it is very easy to use, import contacts in seconds, create sequences, create Marketing Emails. Everything is designed to save you time giving you everything you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it might take few minutes for the system to refresh, unless you refresh the page yourself. Overall everything is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create sequences or workflows, this saves a lot of time as instead of sending an initial email, create a follow up task and so on the system does is for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have the time to learn a hard CRM system Hubspot is for you. Easy to use and you have everything you need right in front of you. Customisable dashboard is definitely a plus.
Streamlined, efficient and helpful CRM.
What do you like best about the product?
I began using hubspot when I started my job two months ago. New to the industry, I was overwhelmed with how to organize all my information, notes, tasks, and contacts . Hubspot has made it easy to keep track of what I need to do and what I have already done, along with what is in progress. I'm not a naturally organized person and it's helped keep me in check. I'm focused on the work at hand because I don't have to cloud up my brain by constantly taking mental notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish statuses would update on their own/tasks I complete through hubspot would automatically mark themselves as complete. It is an extra step to make sure I update these, but it isn't that big of a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned before, I don't have to constantly backtrack, accidentally contact someone twice, or constantly forget things. I have all my to dos, contacts, resources for getting stuff done on one CRM platform. I also like that it eliminates the need for handwriting to do lists and notes, because I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint.
I also see previous notes from colleagues easily on the interface in case there is information I need to know about the task at hand, without having to carve out time to have to go out and ask them about it.
Because of hubspot's task and queue feature, I am more productive first thing in the mornings. I log on, go to the tasks tab and see what I created for myself/need to do, click begin sequence, and the screen automatically goes into a mode where I can fire through everything quickly and mark as complete.
The reports tab impacts my work by motivating me to see how I'm doing as it keeps track of my activity. Seeing the numbers go up as I complete tasks gives me a tangible image of my hard work paying off, and motivates me to keep going.

Learn about the different filtering features and utilize the task feature. Read previous notes if there are any, they are visible to you for a reason so take advantage of that benefit
