Fast performance and relatively easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Dossier is very simple to use. Fast to learn for business users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Document mode can have a difficult learning curve. Bugs sometimes are sometimes present which causes difficulty of development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dossier helps to easily and quickly develop reports. Drag and drop interface helps business users and non technical users.

Preformat data before bringing it into microstrategy for easy use of development in documents and dossiers

Documents and Dossiers have very different levels of support, and can be hard to make equivalent.

Analyzing new customer data during peak business months in different regions have allowed us to rapidly respond to new trends.

MicroStrategy will fit an enterprise that is looking for governed self-service data discovery. While other tools in the market offer the pipe-dream of "true self-service" analytics, MicroStrategy as a product is rooted on the ground reality that a scalable, future-proof platform will take expertise.

The visualizations. They seem a bit outdated.

The learning process, therefore robust, is a bit extensive, however, it can be achieved

The functionality and framework of the platform is easy to comprehend and teach to others.

The visualizations and data analytics are lacking but the latest updates may change that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily we are using MSTR to house data and we extract it for analytics outside because of the limitations we have through the web portal. Hopefully the latest updates or access (based on IT) to the desktop platform would resolve that.
