User interface , web based lite version , easy to use and intuitive

Cubes takes time to refresh completely. No detailed logs available to debug

Product performance in interactive charts and bars . Report generation based on names. Benefits are non technical people can also utilize the reports

Since microstrategy partners with other applications providers, driver compatibility can be an issues when company continuously improve their system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing easy access to well established data to end user without having to understand and master technical data mining skills.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Intuitive Dashboards, Visual Insight,Reports, Ease of use and Development, Performance of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for this tool is more. It has many tools for different purposes which becomes confusing for the users. Also cost is too high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business Reporting, Data Analysis, Report Delivery to users, Automating Admin Tasks.

One of the Best Enterprise tool for BI.Especially for large scale implementation where performance matters, this tool performs great.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like its speed, its performance and its great data filtering capacity. You can use a lot of different datababase sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is hardly readable, it should be improved. Maybe the install process for Linux version is also complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can analyze large databases from very different sources and have a single report with crossed and related data from all the sources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be careful if you install Linux version, it a hard task to do.

It is very easy to get what you what want to do. The reports are real time designed and the data also change like an Excel spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation process is not easy. The handbook is also very complicated to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All your databases can be integrated into only one solution and everyone at your business can design his own report with all the data required without any database knowledge.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Linux installation is very complicated but frees a lot of system resources. Recommended only if you have a high Linux level.
