What do you like best about the product?
Best of both strong architecture foundation and latest self-service visualization capabilities

self-service capabilities tool really long time to stage where it is today

Regular enterprise reporting as well as self-service BI

What do you like best about the product?
MS PPT refresh with Dashboard and how easy it gets for user to do the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adjusting look and feel in Documents and when you export to excel. It dont stay the same.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like MicroStrategy to be partnering with Google Cloud as most of our data is in there. There are also couple of things like the Writeback functionality in Google cloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well we have been a customer for MSTR for quite a years now. I really liked the security and governance provided by MSTR compared to all the other analytics tool we have which has helped us implement some key security measures for different business users and vendor groups

It's a great tool to consider for your Enterprise Analytics Solutions and with the power of Dossier in 2019 it has become more robust

What do you like best about the product?
Microstrategy with introduction of Hyper intelligence and Hyper cards really provides data as finger tips.
What do you dislike about the product?
More Inmemory capabilities for quicker response would be great, with more focus on NLP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data insights problems which requires to derive information from data and then predict how to take an action, i think Hypercards suits the bill here.
MSTR is lacking in convincing business for its usability for ad-hoc analytics

Dashboarding experience is the best feature for me

Limitation in terms of churning large data for ad-hoc analytics on big data use cases. Cube mergers and joins are restrictive

Powerful BI Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Dossier is easy to use and has an outstanding data wrangler tool. In addition, MicroStrategy offers the ability to use data from various external sources as well as from metadata data sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that could be improved within Dossier such as having a Live connection to personal data sources and not having to re-link to our personal data source every time you need to refresh. Would as be nice to connect to PDF documents as personal data source. Tableau offers this functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MicroStrategy is primarily used to report and analyze accounting and financial data. The transactional service feature has been helpful to accomplish user writeback to the database and provide real time data.

The tool is very helpful for Big Data Analytics . The Hypercards and Dossiers are the wonderful applications to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features like Timestamp on the Dossiers does not reflect the Current Time. basically it shows the date and time where the server is located.

The Insights to users with the adhoc report requests like exporting files in excel formats.

Microstrategy is a tool Easy to use. Friendly and esay to manage. Our users are happy to use it.

It is very difficult to Install and configure the tool. The tool require a good hardware to use. Required a lot of memory.

Used need access to data. With Microstrategy we get it.
