director of BI
What do you like best about the product?
MSTR is the only BI with decent SQL engine. it is an application that allow developers to go beyon what the application is able to do. I have been using 1/2 a dozen of BI tool and MSTR is the onle one with the least obstacles blocking developers from delivering a state-of the art solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
comparing the response side between sense and MSTR, i think MSTR reponse time is not there. Maybe 2019 version will be different.

Data federation, ab ility to use multiple sources of visualizations

Hard to build pixel perfect dashboards with feature rich interactivity without SDK

good software, hard to customize it for web

What do you like best about the product?
I like the workshops the best. For me, hands on learning is the best way for me to experience and learn what's new in MSTR
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like we go thru the same thing every year when it comes to connection. Either the downloads do not work, the connectivity is poor or trying to logon to do the lessons are not able to due to connectivity issues

We are currently trying to have a way for upper management to try to view/review analytical reports in a more conducive way whether it be mobil device or reports

What do you like best about the product?
MicroStrategy has the best mobile functionality in the BI space. The whole new Dossier functionality is great for any user who wants to independently build their own analysis on data.

MicroStrategy can do better at Android app capability across EMM providers

Artificial intelligence and Hyperintelligence are some of the amazing factors that I liked about this tool

Not supporting excel output as expected by the business users who still use excel as their intermediate layer for business calculations

Enterprise wide reporting tool capable of handling terabytes of data

Not much visualizations. Need to have more visualizations and predictive capabilities.

I am working for a Healthcare client with MicroStrategy primarily on Financial Reporting and Analytics. Benefits being its metadata layer and enterprise wide BI service.

The capabilities are endless with very few addons. Creates dashboards that are easy to for customers to understand. User friendly in development too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much, but I guess some of the dashboards are harder to create in Microstrategy than in excel.

Ease of reporting to the field and the ease of internal cutomers to access reports.
