MSTR User for dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
The conference is very rewarding and helpful, and it provided me with lots of future products. Personally, I am very interested in hyperintelligence tech. It is easy to use, very flexsible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some workshop and session provided too high level big picture, sometimes I do not understand of what they are focusing on. In the future, if they can provide us with more examples and guide, it will be very helful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualize data for our operators, when they request the information, they can just open the MSTR app to see it, and it is very self serviced. It makes our job very easy once we have build the dashboard ad documents for people, and it makes our job very easy to pull the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn how to use it, it can save a lot of time! Love it. Can create charts and graph by locations easily (no need to refresh a pivot table or chart to send individual reports)
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve and may be difficult for someone who is not technical. I can see the value and ease of Dossier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in HR, there are a lot of adminstrative/manual work with reporting. We are all over the US and people like to see reports by regions, locations, and supervisors. Microstrategy has reduced the time it takes to send these reports and dashboards out.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dossiers and hyperintelligence.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the Enterprise Manager data loads

Issues with Enterprise manager, resposnsive design on report services document.
20 Year MicroStrategy User
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the technical forums and learning how other organizations are using MicroStrategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the sessions are more of a refesher rather than useful new info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MicroStrategy is part of our day to day processing. We have automated several manual processes and help business units solve problems.
Great reporting tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how user friendly the tool is and how easy it is to teach my customers how to get the most out of their data using microstrategy. I have been using it for over 10 years now and I love how much it has grown and new features over the years.

I can't really thik of anything lately so nothing much

I am helping clients pull data to look at financials and market trends
MicroStrategy Platform and User experience
What do you like best about the product?
MicroStrategy has the robust platform architecture which no other tool in the market has . Its security layer is so granular that it is good for any enterprise and control each and every click that users do. Good for pixel perfect reporting and RSD.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little lagging in Visualizations. Probably adding few more visualization would help bringing more business users

In-memory cubes capability since that boosts performance.

Too many client components and managers such as Object manager, system manager, developer, architect.

Compliance, risk reporting requirements, cards statements.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great product that makes it easy to visulize data and make data driven decisions quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more modeling and predictive AI capabilities.

Reviewing Microstrategy as a Power User
What do you like best about the product?
Interactivity built into dossiers, the chapter/page set up that allows for additional filtering capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having used a different program (Tableau) I wish we had a shared library, and Parameters built into dossiers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data mining and data analysis is easier for sure.

MicroStrategy makes it so much easier for us to deliver information to our staff
What do you like best about the product?
We get a lot of requests to create reports and MicroStrategy makes it easy for us to build reports and deliver results to our staff. I'm looking forward to using the new free-form dossier editing to make some great looking reports and to improve the reports that we already have.
What do you dislike about the product?
We inherited a pretty messy dataset and it's been a bit of a struggle to set up our semantic graph. However, we're working the the MicroStrategy team to clean up our dataset and build out our graph.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're currently saving a good amount of time with MicroStrategy. Instead of manually preparing and sending out reports we use MicroStrategy to deliver scheduled reports and provide on-demand reporting.
We're looking forward to expanding those on-demand reports to richer dossiers.
