Most Powerful BI Platform around
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud functionality, mobile, transactional(writeback) dossiers, documents, a number of the new features in 2020 really push this over the edge, like freeform canvas, and the additions to workstation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most attractive tool always, but there are strides being made, and there's always the SDK if you want to build your own
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CHannel Attribution modelling, affiliate ranking, predictive customer behaviours, life time value modelling and genreal dashboarding/reporting

Best tool for your business analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities. Microstrategy is always forward thinking allowing us to better provide information to our business users. Hypercards are fantastic and a great way to introduce 0 click analytics to our daily processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Microstrategy can bog down under high volume.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking supply chain flow. Revamping order process and tracking. Integration with salesforce and Infor

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful analytics, easy to create reports, documents, dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Process of finding attributes/metrics can be difficult. Granted this could be our implementation and how we have it structered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily focused on financial reporting and forecasting. Ability to dig into details and analyze financtial targets.

End to end business intelligence that works with almost any data sources

For developers getting started it can be difficult to get hands on with the nuts and bolts of the product. Express editions with sql server and oracle are a good model

Documents for claims letters. Standard accounting reports as a way for end users to get into a self service BI model

Do the engagements with the support teams.

The lead time in creating the reports is not that great but overall it a good enterprise solution

Slow, expensive compared to Tableau, too much administration

Writeback is really helpful. Cloud integration with AWS is good.
Unrivaled enterprise performance
What do you like best about the product?
MicroStrategy is built to handle high traffic volumes with scalable performance better than any other BI tool we've tried. It's also the only tool the elegantly handles internationalization and localization without having to replicate an application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools that should have parity do not, making it necessary to use multiple tools to accomplish a task. This is just an odd quirk that I think most any platform could have, but it a point of frustration (development tools specifically)

Pixel perfect, managed application providing cirical services to our field leaders, enabling them to manager their business and achieve year over year gains in profitablility.

provide scalability and better performance for large enterprise. keeping up with what's hot in the market. great tech support experience

certain tasks has to be done in multiple tools. would like to have a simplified solution

deliver enterprise solution to our large base active user groups with flexible security options at many levels. Internationality of translation also makes it possible to deploy to other markets

Free version is great. Server version is not cheap

can be buggy (ok, it is buggy). MSTR seems a little more intersted in new features over stability.

We use it for general business reporting (Finance, HR, Procurement). We will be using it for more operation stuff soon.
