Super helpful for all our marketing team needs

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot is such an incredibly helpful tool that allows us to easily organize our marketing materials and makes it easy for the sales team to send materials out to clients and see who has viewed the pieces and when. It helps the sales and marketing teams run smoothly and the smart plays allow us to keep all the materials for a single event in one place so the sales team has one place to go to see reports, social media graphics, emails, etc. Truly a lifesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things we wish would be added to Highspot, like an easier way to set up smart plays and customize them with a more uniform look and feel so we're not starting from scratch every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us from a lot of back and forth with our sales team when they're looking for certain pieces of content for an event or needing to send it out to clients. It has greatly helped our marketing department keep everything up to date and organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great business tool and their support team is outstanding at troubleshooting our issues

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's user-friendly and it's sort of a choose-your-own-adventure tool. The possibilities for how you use Highspot are mostly only hindered by the admin or creator's lack of knowledge rather than lack of functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the newer features (like Content Governance approval) were a little more sophisticated. I also wish some of the analytics side of things were easier to navigate within.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highspot solves having to track down files in disparate systems. It serves as a one-stop-shop for all our sales and marketing materials and provides one centralized location to send out salespeople to when they are looking for the latest content.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized it is, the pitching feature, and the customizable templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find something that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of having information/documents in many locations. Benefits me because it saves time, is nearly effortless and offers new sales methods.

Excellent at Content Management, Very Good for Pitching

What do you like best about the product?
The content management is excellent, whether it's internal or external content. It's easy to organize content into Spots, and even further within the spots. Navigating those Spots is also super easy for the user, as long as the content manager sets it up correctly. Also, speaking of content management, Highspot makes that so easy as well! ALSO, Pitch metrics are AMAZING.
What do you dislike about the product?
The absolute worst thing is the text editing in an email pitch template. The text editor from my first computer was more functional. It's extremely frustrating. Plus, if you avoid it altogether and copy-paste from another document, there's a chance that the formatting will just blow up for the email recipient. I also dislike the various nuances, pros, cons, of Pitching. Not being able to adjust the location of content within an email is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have problems with explaining all the nuances of Pitching to Salespeople, and them absorbing it. I have realized great benefits from the Pitch metrics, it's amazing!

Excellent Customer Support

What do you like best about the product?
The relationship we have with Cutter and Samir allows us to be successful in our enablement efforts. They are always willing to go over our bi-weekly time together and extra follow-ups in emails for the weeks we do not meet. They are supporting us to provide more engaging pages, plays & spots as well as uncovering the story the analytics are supporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of features we are still hoping for such as the team scorecard, however, we have greatly appreciated being included in feedback interviews to help influence the build of these new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the analytics provided in Highspot along with Salesforce pipeline information to make correlations on rep success. For example, if a rep has not reviewed any product information in Highspot and is also not having successful customer conversations, enabling the managers to review the rep scorecard for coaching opportunities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider having a single Enablement platform. It is much easier to manage and measure if everything is together!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that everything is all in one place. We used to have things all over the place in google drive, and we were constantly running into issues of what was in a shared drive vs personal drive, sharing & permissions issues, people saving their own copies etc.
I love that you can still link to items in the google suite (google docs, sheets, slides etc), and that they will automatically update from google drive - so you don't have to worry about old versions living in Highspot.
They make it really easy to design "smart pages" and landing pages and all that good stuff, without needing to know any coding or html.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little tough to learn the "levels" of everything in the software at first, such as lists vs global lists, smart pages, home pages, spots etc. But once you get the hang of it, it gets pretty quick.
I wish there were a few more design options to have a better UX in the smart pages (more custom colors, fonts etc to align with our branding), and the ability to size photos more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the main problems we are solving are having all of our content in one place, increasing tribal knowledge (making sure everyone has access to the same materials), as well as improved training capacity (we are in the process of implementing the T&C part of Highspot as well). Having Highspot is a timesaver in terms of finding important resources (universal search bar), and I appreciate that we can track what content has engagement (both internal with employees and external with prospects) so we know what is most important to our teammates and prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the customization functionality that allows us to provide a unique experience on each page. We use Highspot as a single source of truth for all information our revenue teams need to be successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the few challenges we face with Highspot is the learning curve for content creators within the platform. Some aspects of the platform are not clear and intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing Highspot to get the right information in front of our revenue teams. We ensure that content in Highspot is up to date so our revenue teams can rely on the accuracy of materials.

Make sure you are strategic in the build-out process. Do discovery with your team to determine what type of organization is going to work for them!

What do you like best about the product?
Highspot makes it easy to find content using search & filters. Our sales reps love the ability to see who has opened their email & viewed the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be great if when pitching from Outlook, it'd track each recipient's metrics like it does when emailing directly from Highspot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales reps no longer have to worry if the collateral is out of date and like not needing to worry about email attachment sizes. The reps are gaining insights about their customers that they previously didn't have access to regarding how our customers interact with our materials.
