What do you like best about the product?

We've had a very positive experience using ComplyAdvantage for sanctions and adverse media screening. The platform provides extensive risk intelligence, and the quality of its screening data helps us to identify potential risks quickly and confidently. Response times are fast, and ongoing monitoring has significantly reduced the amount of manual work required in our onboarding and review processes.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main area for improvement is the initial implementation and configuration process, which could be smoother and more straightforward. I’d also welcome more flexibility in reporting and in how dashboards can be customized. Finally, having greater confidence that false positives aren’t occurring would improve my overall perception of the product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

ComplyAdvantage helps us address several key compliance and financial crime risks, including sanctions screening and adverse media checks. In the past, these activities required significant manual effort, which often led to inconsistent reviews and slower supplier onboarding. With ComplyAdvantage, these processes are centralised and supported by real-time risk intelligence, allowing us to identify potential compliance concerns far more efficiently and with greater consistency.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about ComplyAdvantage is how it streamlines sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening through an intuitive, cloud-based platform. It enables a more efficient and consistent approach to supplier due diligence, helping us meet compliance requirements without adding unnecessary administrative burden.

The platform is straightforward to navigate, screening results come back quickly, and the risk-based approach helps us focus on suppliers that genuinely require closer review. I also find the ability to maintain an auditable record of screening activities especially valuable for demonstrating compliance with institutional policies and governance requirements. Overall, it supports more informed procurement decisions while improving the efficiency and transparency of our supplier onboarding process.

What do you dislike about the product?

While ComplyAdvantage is generally easy to use, some screening results require manual review to distinguish genuine risks from false positives. It would also be helpful to have more flexible reporting and dashboard customisation to better support procurement monitoring and internal stakeholder reporting. Aside from these minor improvements, the platform meets our supplier due diligence requirements well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

ComplyAdvantage helps us manage supplier due diligence more efficiently by automating sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening. This reduces the time spent on manual checks, supports compliance with university procurement and governance requirements, and provides a clear audit trail for decision-making. As a result, supplier onboarding is faster, compliance risks are better managed, and procurement staff can focus on higher-value activities.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that ComplyAdvantage posts a lot of data from the Internet and its sources, and it pulls in a lot of information in adverse media. That's really useful. The adverse media feature is particularly valuable for understanding reputational risks and the reputation or legal concerns of transacting with an individual or company.

What do you dislike about the product?

One thing I find lacking in ComplyAdvantage is the very limited ownership information. There's very little information about the beneficial ownership of a sanctioned entity. I believe when a sanctioned company is identified, there should also be a trail to highlight why the company is deemed sanctioned, whether that's because of a sanctioned owner or because of a specific designation by authority. They should also provide links to any related entities tied to the sanctioned entity itself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ComplyAdvantage to verify sanctioned status and assess reputational and legal risks of transacting with individuals and companies using adverse media data.

What do you like best about the product?

The visibility of data on the executive summary section is really helpful, I can quickly get insights at a glance and fill my MI reports quickly and accurately.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like the fact that there is no geolocation feature when reviewing transactions. I would like to be able to see the location of transactions being carried out.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled to find a platform that could help us monitor transactions properly. We worked with vendors who either couldn’t keep up with the rules we needed or didn’t fully understand our requests, and they weren’t willing to collaborate with us to get things right. ComplyAdvantage has gone beyond our expectations, especially thanks to our account manager , Chemilla Lambert. She has been amazing.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy-to-use interface, with good communication and solid problem-solving. The rule logic is straightforward to understand and isn’t cluttered with unnecessary information, which makes it simple to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?

At times, it feels like the rules aren’t flexible enough, and the options for developing or customizing the interface seem limited.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I appreciate the flexibility of having prepared comments available in the production interface; however, I’d really love it if the interface allowed more than 10 preset comments. Also, the AI integration and rule segmentation are helpful, but they could be clearer and more streamlined within the workflow.

What do you like best about the product?

Great, easy-to-navigate interface. The filter features across the alert and transaction dashboards make quick analysis and finding details effortless. Additionally the executive summary really streamlines data reporting. The rule info tab is a great tool for quickly jogging my memory on specific rule codes. The system captures integrated data via API accurately, which optimizes our rule performance. Our customer success manager has been exceptionally helpful with troubleshooting and configuring the changes we need. Support is always readily available, and responses are prompt. Would love to see more AI-powered capabilities for capturing behavioral patterns

What do you dislike about the product?

A major drawback is the lack of notifications and auto-refresh on the alert dashboard. It makes it tedious to constantly hit refresh manually to catch new alerts and respond promptly. Also, the external URL links shared for sanctions and warnings are often broken and return an error response.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The system is effective for live transaction monitoring and aid in mitigating risks and strengthening our overall fraud prevention and AML/CFT compliance efforts

What do you like best about the product?

Extremely clear UX, the ability to screen multiple vendors at once, detailed search filters

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes I will search an entity that I have already screened, and if the name is a bit off, it will not show up. It would be nice to have the ability to search for more ambiguous names, and have any entities that are close to the name show up.

We are able to sanction screen vendors and recipients in order to deliver our product

It classifies all the alerts on names and location basis, it easier to identify hits.

Nothing really its all useful features that help me.

What do you like best about the product?

It has mayny functions, we can download reports, search, set dates etc. The downsides is that it has also a lot of irrelevant content which are not actually P&S matches and and takes time to go through. Also a couple of times the PEP match was not identified in a timely manner. For heads up we use comply advantage for P&S screening and for AML alerts.

What do you dislike about the product?

CA to improve they can use AI to better filter articles related to a person for a P&S screening, to filter out irrelevant articles and search in the articles for age or other relevant information to resolve it with outhuman interaction required. The irrelevant matches create a lot more workload epsecially when you can find the information easily on the match or on open source.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

on a positive note, CA has been a good system, helping identify potential matches and true matches, and is giving the relevant articles and open source so you can elaborate your search and is quite user friendly. It is also very straightforward to open those or search the content of the articles. or to add comments and download reports.
