Fast & Smart
What do you like best about the product?
Creating daily backups of important data has never been easier and faster. The software has a clear, clean and feature-rich interface. It offers many features at a very low price.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this software is straightforward to use. Unlike other programs this is cross-platform and does not require engineers for its installation and configuration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have avoided the loss of valuable data for my work. In the past, I have had to spend a lot of time and money to recover lost data but since using this program i solved my problems
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Quick and easy setup. Advanced features even for the less experienced.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of new task configuration. It is simple to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have the functionality of incremental backup and avoiding multiple file types in a folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Periodic backup of GMP sensitive data

It is a better alternative to FTP setup.

solving the backup problem, and I have realized that with Veeam you can do backup and replicate the VMs to other hosts for redundancy.
It works but...
What do you like best about the product?
It makes backing up VMs really easy. you just make your hosts and then you can create the jobs bast on the VM.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's clunky and seems to break every time the QNAP we are backing up to needs updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large number of VMs in our environment and this allows us to easily back them up.
Veeam has a learning curve and set up takes a while.

I like the graphic that displays the speed of backup. I also like the descriptive messages in the backup window in case there are errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time and effort to set up and deploy. The product has a learning curve and is not easy to use.

It is allowing me to create backups of VMs on one of my 5 VMWare hosts.
Veeam Backup - The Truth
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication is a product that just works. We check it daily, but we do not have to do too much maintenance with it. It works flawlessly for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication does not work well with the Netapp SANS we have, but that is not Veeams fault as they are older with older technology so that is the reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are backing up our entire physical and virtual infrastructure with Veeam. We backup onsite and also replicate that to an offsite location using the Veeam software.
Veeam backup Replication Best for Vmware ESXI
What do you like best about the product?
backup features is very powerful, its compress and calculate the space of storage very well, on backup and restore without lost the bit at all, 100% of backup can restore effectively without lost the data/information inside the VM at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
its a bit heavy setup on the backup server, if in the future veeam can reduce the file setup and use less cpu, ram resource on the backup server would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
previously we are using vm snapshot features of vmware, since we start using veeam replication backup its perform faster and can backup every night, weekly, daily and monthly, also it can perform the banwidth calculation before backup its not interupt the speed of the global network bandwidth in the switch. this mean while backing up the VM of ESXI the user can still access to internet and working properly.

The best feature of Veeam is the ease of setup and use. Once you create the jobs, recovering the data in case needed is straightforward and reliable.

Slow startup of the application is what I don't like. But in General, Veeam is an excellent product.

Perfect solution for quick restoration
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is the perfect solution for the auto-backup process. We wanted to implement the auto backup solution for moving our primary VMs to DR site automatically.
Since the VMs sizes are very large, management had decided to move the data in nite time. So our IT team purchased a Veeam backup solution, which helps to move automatically and sends the notification after completion. Veeam backup is user-friendly solution. Learning process also not hard and anyone can work with that. we have been using this veeam for over four years, and veeam sends the daily notifications to IT admins email account. the restoration process also won't take much time. Just a couple of steps carry out the backup restore process. Very reliable software.

I have no negative comments about Veeam solution, which works well for us. Compared with other products, veeam prices are bit high. so small business organizations may face difficulties to buy

1) Veeam is solving lot of problems, which reduces the work lot, As our server backups are scheduled to nite time no human involvement is not required.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Veeam Backup and replication from several years to backup VM's and physical servers is very reliable. The tool guarantees that it can back up the information quickly and easily. Veeam has genuinely been an excellent purchase for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
All features and support are best. Great Backup tool.
