What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes the process of achieving and maintaining compliance feel much more manageable. The platform automates a lot of the tedious tasks, like tracking employee training or monitoring security settings, which frees up time for more critical work. I really appreciate how simpler the interface is. Also, the integration capabilities are also a big plus, as it seamlessly connects with other tools we already use, like a third party MDM or pentesting platforms, making the whole process smoother and comply with a lot of checks. On top of that, their team helped us find an audit firm to obtainthe certifications; the entire process was super simple and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup can be a bit overwhelming, especially for smaller teams without a dedicated compliance expert. It would be great if there were more guided walkthroughs or simpler explanations for those who are new to the compliance landscape. Also, the pricing might be a bit steep for startups or smaller companies, which could make it less accessible for everyone who could benefit from it.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it automates all the compliance tasks I used to do by hand. It's such a time-saver! It really easy to hook up all integrations and get going with the SOC 2 program.

The pricing is a bit steep for smaller companies. I wish they had a more affordable option for startups just getting started with compliance.

What I like best about Vanta is its intuitive interface combined with powerful automation features. The platform’s ability to automate evidence collection and provide real-time tracking of compliance progress significantly reduces the manual workload and makes the entire ISO 27001 compliance process more efficient and manageable. This blend of user-friendliness and robust functionality ensures that even complex compliance tasks are streamlined and easily navigable, allowing for a smoother path to achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit difficult to run true internal audits and make comments on individual areas in line with controls you are assessing, and only can run audits at the policy/document level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comprehensive, centralised collection of ISMS and related evidence.
Everything was incredibly easy review and manage which is important in my role as CEO.

It is very easy to understand and review the documents I need to check off and add feedback on.

I would like a more user friendly mobile option. Which is very minor.

Vanta offers an easy-to-use user interface combined with clear and thorought guides leading us step by step thoughout the whole period of our audit process. The custom support is great and responds rapidly.

There are no downsides of Vanta up till now. We've encountered several small bugs that was remediated immediately.

Seamless compliance process with Vanta!
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is super easy to use and straightforward. If you don't have a compliance background, the platform does a good job guiding you through everything you need to achieve multiple compliance frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some tests, it is hard to deactivate them / or takes manual decativating, but aside from that, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us get through our SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance processes. They also have the Trust Center which is pretty seamless which we use.

Real-time security monitoring reduces the busy work of collecting evidence so that the security or IT folks can focus on other things. It has been easy for people to jump in and use the product.
I recommend the solution and advise you to have a plan and a security expert.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
It actually works for you as promised
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta removes the complexity required to do an ISO certification and makes it available to small teams like mine, ensuring you won't die in tons of paper and endless checking processes. The automated controls, which are connected to your apps (very easily), the tests, and the framework to control all the ISO elements are excellent. And the implementation was super easy. It keeps track of things for you; you have to log in and do your daily work (if needed).
Important plus: the support was extremely fast when I had some issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unclear pricing renewal: I expected a lot more clarity on the split between Vanta and the auditors. The overall price might be the same or not, but it is unclear and doesn't match the initial promises. It's still worth the money, but from an excellent product, you'd expect excellent management of administrative tasks. Something changes internally, but they failed to communicate properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified the process to get the ISO 27001 and kept track of all the work needed, bringing us from step 1 (understanding how) to being certified in less than 6 months.
They also selected the auditor for us and privately managed the payment.
