Powerful Tool to assist in achieving ISO27001
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful integrations with your services like InTune to assist in capturing evidence automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very clear in terms of where to start or how the journey should look. We have additional support through Cognisys and that has made the world of difference in terms of having a company guide us and answer questions on the templates Vanta provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a fully functional ISMS to ensure we're progressing through ISO27001 faster then using anything else.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful with vante are the clear dashboard, easy to connect in different Saas Platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
When you sync Vanta with your ID Provider, is not easy to manage sync offboarding action.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving all SOC 2 and Iso27K compliance, it's very benefic before and during an Audit.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Vanta's user interface! It is so sleek, modern, and easy to navigate. The layout is intuitive and well-designed, making it a breeze to access all of the features and tools that Vanta has to offer. I particularly appreciate how visually appealing the UI is, with its clean design and user-friendly controls. Overall, I find Vanta's UI to be a standout feature that greatly enhances my experience with the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving the challenge of managing compliance for businesses by streamlining and automating the process. This is benefiting me by saving time and resources that would have otherwise been spent manually tracking compliance requirements and ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to meet regulatory standards. With Vanta, I can rely on their platform to keep track of compliance tasks, generate reports, and provide guidance on what needs to be done to stay in compliance. This allows me to focus on other aspects of my business knowing that our compliance needs are being met efficiently and effectively. Overall, Vanta's solution for managing compliance has provided me with peace of mind and confidence in our ability to meet regulatory requirements.
User-Friendly Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have already used different audit platforms but Vanta is quite easy to use and very user-friendly. It took me only about a couple of days to learn how to use the Vanta platform, while it took me a longer time to learn how to use the other platforms, and still, I can't find them as user-friendly as the Vanta platform. It is very easy to navigate and downloading information is quite fast.
Also, the response of the Support team is really fast and my concern was resolved immediately. Thanks!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I see generating/downloading a big file in excel format, as there is a limit in the number of rows, which I believe is also true with the other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of the use of the Vanta platform helps me conduct auditing of security compliance faster.
Easy SOC 2
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta turned a complicated process into an easy todo list with automated checks and reminders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta packages different parts of the platform, like access reviews, separately. I wish this were just included in a single price.

Vanta is helping us with our SOC 2 audit.
Vanta is a great aid for small or medium-sized companies who are concerned about security
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has helped us achieve the ISO 27001 certification by doing some of the heavy lifting involved in this security certificate: Document storage, automated tests, expiration reminders, policy templates and guidelines... Being a small-sized company, we are conscious of the resources we must dedicate to keep our ISMS in good shape, and Vanta takes away from our team a great deal of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta's Risk Management did not map efficiently with our RM procedures, so we are not using this part of the application.

ISMS management. Helps automate and manage our ISMS processes and workflows
Makes HIPAA compliance quite easy
What do you like best about the product?
They are very prescriptive about exactly what we need to do to reach HIPAA compliance. Whenever we onboard or offboard an employee it provides the steps we need to take, it has a library of policies that we can use off the shelf, and it provides helpful guidance about the way we need to set up our backend infrastructure to minimize vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's relatively expensive. It's still cheaper than if we were trying to reach HIPAA compliance ourselves, but it still is more expensive than I would hope.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping make sure we are HIPAA compliant. There are so many different pieces that go into achieving HIPAA compliance and they make it easy for us to get there.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation of contol monitoring and labor saving through control cross walks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Management of users via groups and checklists is not effective due to 1 to 1 relationships
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing compliance in a cost effective manner with limited staff to ensure quality of security processes and supporting sales through proof of the existence and quality of our security program.
The tool has so many integrations and gives you all the steps to achieve the compliance goals
What do you like best about the product?
So many steps and all of them are guided. You don't feel lost in the tool. It's hard work, but the tool can give you the proper guidance and warnings every time some controls are not in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to add. Vanta has everything I need. Maybe adding more integrations with Brazilian tools like RD station, etc.

Maintaining a good security posture
What do you like best about the product?
Centralizing all the SOC2 controls and making them easier to grok, as well as the automated monitoring / notifications on infrastrucutre security.
Some of the more recent updates have made syncing security policies between google drive and vanta a breeze, and its much easier to edit and keep versions of them in a tool the rest of the team already knows and loves.
