My experience with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
It lets you manage your devices and see what apps are connected
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not really like a mdm, if it had that option, that would be great

Great compliance/continuous monitoring platform
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's provided our team with some air cover over our security processes, including user add/deletes, system ownership, and configuration for both our desktop and GCP environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup and tuning takes some time, though the Vanta support here is excellent. Once you get into it, managing the volume of vulnerabiliies may be...intense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main driver was SOC 2 compliance but it's been a useful tool in many other areas of our security program. Served as a huge driver and created a repository for our policies.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is the Llama because, even if it is a bot, it actually solves de problem and doesn't stick to one solution.

I cannot think of anything at the moment

Thanks to the easiness of use, we have been able to reduce the burden of the onboarding process.
Used Vanta for GDPR compliance, policies and inventories
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Vanta primarily to streamline our GPDR compliance. Since then, we have extended our use to manage our policies and keep track of our various inventories.
As the CTO, Vanta’s automated evidence collection and seamless integration with our tech stack (such as AWS, GCP, and GitHub) have significantly reduced my manual workload.

What do you dislike about the product?
I found that the customization options for certain compliance settings were somewhat limited, and expanding these would allow us to tailor the platform more closely to our specific needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta tells us where we need to make changes and love that it tells us we have accounts to close once an employee leaves.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little overwhelming at first once you start hooking in all your services.

Vanta is showing us the different things we need to make changes on in order to be compliant with the different security frameworks we are subscribed to.
Vanta is far and away the best tool for audit management
What do you like best about the product?
Where do I even start? The fact that I can seamlessly add evidence for MULTIPLE audits alone is invaluable to my organization. Additionally, it has hooks into nearly every piece of software that my organization uses and has helped us identify countless security flaws in our infrastructure, and application security. I cannot recommend Vanta enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's fantastic software written by fantastic people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to quickly identify and remediate places in our cloud infrastructure that are non-compliant with SOC2 and HIPAA audits. Additionally, we're able to quickly add evidence to prove we are meeting other requirements all within a single pane of glass experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how the policies, controls and vendor functions all map together so easily. The AI function is great and starting to use the trust centre seems super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not fully configurable for views in trust centre.

Easy to prep for audits
Good tool but too pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Great functionality, including control automation, mapping, policy awareness, trust centre, risk register, vendor management.
What do you dislike about the product?
They charge for absolutely everything. You want a custom framework? You'll pay thousands more per year. They nickle and dime you for every additional feature you want to activate. There are other tools out there just as powerful and feature rich that don't price you out of their product.

Centralizing compliance management.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use policy templates and excellent Risk Library and Vendor Management tabs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some frameworks not currently on there that would be very useful to have e.g. 9001

What do you like best about the product?
GRC compliance and the trust center. Risk register is very efficient as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Constant emails on test and controls. Sometimes the integrations fail with some of the tools.

Vulnerability management, quicker response time. Seamless convenience of giving access to the auditors and have be given certain roles.
