Streamlined experience that saved us an incredible amount of time
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helps simplify the end to end SOC2 process, which is an otherwise technically complex and daunting process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The handoff process from the AE to CSM was a little clunky. I was left not really knowing what to do and there was a fair bit of radio silence/uncertainty for a week or two. But when I finally got in touch, things became very clear and the onboarding/success team was very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta radically simplifies the complex work of navigating SOC2 compliance (+ other compliance work we want to do in the future).

Vanta is great in that it guides you through all the steps needed to be HIPAA compliant.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Vanta gives a guided tour on how to be compliant.

I would like more templates for documents.

Vanta provides the steps needed to be HIPAA complaint. Without these steps we wouldnt know where to start !

Training was super easy for our employees.

Computer wigged out a little when I downloaded the software. Was fixed when I restarted.

The web app needs be refreshed everytime, otherwise numbers don't update.

Vanta is solving for automating compliance in SaaS. With we are becoming SOC 2 compliant really quickly.
An easy way to track your road to compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta gives our a team a clear picture of what needs to be done in order to achieve and maintain our compliance golas. It also allows the team to prioritizes the work and provides a single plain of glass to track progess. The trust page has drastically reduced the amount of time that my team spends on security questionnaires, which has allowed us to devote more time and effort to other security and compliance initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta has come a long way in a short time. It seems like they have a solid road map. I would like to see some additional intergrations along with some additional features, such as exception handling and a procedure repository.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us obtain and maintain our SOC2 and ISO 27001 certification. We also rely on Vanta for our vendor management program.
Almost impossible without Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
The way it organizes all of the points with SOC2 is amazing. Best investment this company has made in quite a while.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative to report. 100% satisfied!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The SOC2 framework can be overwhelming but Vanta has done the legwork when it comes to forms, how they should appear, timeliness of testing and controls and much more. The integrations make it much easier.
Excellent Customer Service, Intuitive Interface!
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive with a sleek design. The webinars and training videos helped me get acquianted quickly. The templates and tools make it easy to get started and prevented my team and I from getting overwhelmed at the seemingly daunting task of reaching our compliance goals!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing negative to report, except maybe that it is a bit expensive, but the benefits and customer service mostly account for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shows us alerts in real time so we can quickly resolve compliance issues as they arise. It also keeps us on track with our tests and reminds us when reviews and documentation are needed.
Critical piece of compliance for a any sized team.
What do you like best about the product?
We are a very small team working on our first SOC2 and would not have been able to manage it without Vanta. The user interface is clear and (for the most part) very intuitive. Vanta not only shows what tests need remidation. but also what to do in easy-to-follow clear steps. Help is terrific! Anytime we had a question, we reached out and received a quick and accurate response. Within the first day of implentation we had users added, cloud services connected, and jumped to 25% completion. We're in Vanta for a little time everyday while we're setting up, but soon it will be more like a weekly task to updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one tiny issue with the user interface that threw me for a loop. There is a tab for people in the organization, but to add users to the system you need to navigate to Settings -> User Permissions. Once I got that, everything was smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using Vanta for SOC2 compliance, but quickly are finding that it has improved our vendor management and security compliance, so we are expanding our use of it.
it makes audit prep a snap
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, in coordinating our efforts towards multipule security audit preperations, along with the flexibility of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is up there compared to other options on the market but often enough you get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The security questionairre bank is very basic and not very useable for my needs.
An easy SOC2 support system from a CEO's perspective
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is an easy to use, modern application. We've used it for about 4 years in a row now.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the early days, it feels hard to justify the steep price tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to be Soc 2 Type 2 certified, and this supports in our annual audit, as well as our day to day security.
