SOC2 Magic Helper
What do you like best about the product?
Automates a lot of the mundane, repetitive tasks apart of the SOC2 audits. Does most of the heavy lifting with templates and automated tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
In an ideal world, all integrations would be inbulit into Vanta out of the box, reducing the last few spots where screenshot uploads are needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps automate the evidence collection process for SOC2. It saves a lot of time from collecting screenshots and pdfs from many different places.
Easy to navigate and drill into tests
What do you like best about the product?
The clean interface and that it's consistent behavior throughout the UI which makes it easy to use once you have learned the platform

It is a threshold to learn the "Vanta way"

Overview of vulnerabilities detected, systems coverage and SLA to address issues

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's integrations help us uphold our desired standards of compliance. They have simple dashboards, trackers, and notifications that guide us in the right direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overwhelming number of emails received with notifications about compliance. Likely can change the settings, but the default is to be notified about every single little thing and it's hard to keep track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us achieve HIPAA and SOC2 compliance and now allows us to continue to monitor or daily operations to ensure we remain in compliance.
Very intuitive with great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform’s ease of use and automation features make compliance efficient, and the customer support team is excellent. It's incredibly intuitive, making the compliance process much smoother. The platform is well-designed, and the automation features save a lot of time. Their customer support is also outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps it would be helpful to have more manual user overrides. For example, incorrect onboarding. Overall, I haven’t encountered any major issues, but another suggestion - more customization options in certain areas could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After a year of using Vanta, it's become essential to how we manage and maintain compliance. It automates onboarding compliance, ongoing maintenance, and even surfaces things that my team has done - new vendors in use, etc - to me in a easy to audit and utilize fashion.
What stands out most after a year is the consistency: Vanta not only helped us get compliant, but it’s helped us stay compliant. Real-time alerts, seamless integrations, and automated evidence collection ensure nothing slips through the cracks—all without disrupting our day-to-day operations.

Makes Compliance Much Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta lays out all the controls for you with reminders, so it's easy to stay on top of compliance. The support team is helpful, and the vast number of integrations makes access reviews much smoother. The built-in security training for team members is also a great addition, helping keep everyone aligned on best practices. Overall, it takes a lot of the headache out of audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations are missing, and the control numbers didn’t match up exactly with what our auditors expected, which caused a bit of extra work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us stay on top of SOC and PCI compliance by organizing all our controls, automating reminders, and simplifying access reviews through integrations. The built-in security training keeps our team informed, and the platform makes audits much smoother by ensuring we have everything in place ahead of time. It saves us time and reduces the stress of managing compliance manually.
Vanta made the SOC2 compliance and audit process so unbelievably easy
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made the SOC2 process much more affordable and doable at an early stage company which significantly helped us attract customers senstive to data security much earlier
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a huge negative but the post audit process for generating the report lacked the transparency of process and timing that the rest of the platform provided along the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The process, documentation and speed to obtain our SOC2 Type II compliance is what we used it to solve for.
Vanta far outstrips its competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Working as an MSP that uses multiple compliance management solutions for various clients, Vanta beats out its competitors in every functional categroy (integrations to it's UI, ease of use). Customer Support is always quick to respond and we often see the features we request get implemented within a few months of requesting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints when considering it against it's competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes informatoin easier to gather and visualize than a spreadsheet or other service does.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive step-by-step processes, and the team feel they have the appropriate amount of tooling and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The consolidated view for the current state of the company, to share with customers, is rather limited. I wish we could add more structured information to the status page. Because of that, we had to create our own status page, which defeats the purpose of Vanta's one.

Help our compliance such as SOC2 and HIPPA.

Ticking system is confusing (I cannot seem to access it in the Vanta portal).
