Makes compliance easier!
What do you like best about the product?
Cross-mapping of controls and making compliance easier
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are technical glitches that we can't handle on our side, it takes a while and some duplicative outreach efforts to hear back from your team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us get and stay compliant across multiple frameworks which is saving us a bit of manual time/effort.

Vanta provides compliance framework templates and automates control testing, saving teams tremendous time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks flexible filtering options for Office 365 user groups and Git project repositories within the integration. For example, allowing user to select a specific office 365 group or groups for users sync.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta enables startups and small enterprises to fast-track compliance with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001—without the need for a large compliance team.
Pretty impactive platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that has the right amount of notifications and customization. We have a fairly small organization but it's still really nice to split up tasks, roles, and responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's our first time going through an audit and I felt sort of underprepared. When it comes to the controls I felt very confident and ready, but there we lots of things that I didn't understand. An example is how every once in awhile something would say that it's "not ready for audit" but would also say that I can't upload until the audit or that it might not even be required. That led me to think about whether or not a lot of controls even applied to our business and I felt sort of lost in that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta does a great job keep us up to date with company policies. Instead of having to remember them manually it gives us great reminders of when things are out of date. Especially regarding HR stuff.

It is another tool to learn however well worth it, as its ended up saving us lots of time

Vanta has been an incredibly useful tool for the SOC 2 audit process.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how well it is organized and how easy it is to see what else needs to be done to help progress the audit process.

Vanta can feel a bit overwhelming at times, but I believe that is more an issue with the audit process than the software presentation.

Vanta is being used to guide us through the SOC 2 Type 2 audit process. It helps manage and organize the process for us as well as connecting us to potential auditors.
Vanta has made tracking compliance drastically easier.

i'm uncertain if it is due to the way we set it up but the lack of a single sign on between vanta and our background vendor CERTN

Pricing: It’s a solid investment, but for smaller HR teams or startups, the cost might be a tough sell without an immediate compliance need.

Now, we have real-time visibility into who’s completed what, and the system automatically flags issues before they become audit problems.

The automated evidence collection and integrations saved us hours of manual work. Vanta's intuitive dashboard made it easy to track progress and identify gaps in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's tough to find where exactly everything lives. The menu on the left-hand side continues to grow every day. They need to find a way to not have 30+ options on the main menu. Easier "how to remediate" for some controls / tests

Vanta gives me clear guidance on what needs to be checked and when. Instead of guessing or chasing scattered tasks, I get a structured view of what’s required for compliance. It keeps us organized and focused, which saves a lot of time and reduces the stress of preparing for audits.
