Vanta makes compliance simple
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has an easy-to-use interface that makes monitoring controls easy to manage. The ability to assign specific tasks to other teammates via Asana is a wonderful feature that makes the management even simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Vanta doesn't integrate with all the applications we use, there are still several items that have to be managed manually. However, the catalog of integrations is extensive, so it assists me when choosing new applications to use within our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us understand what tasks are needed to meet specific controls. The tasks are written in plain language, and the instructions to complete each task are clear.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is reliable and easy to set up and manage. We find that it is highly configurable and works as expected without creating unnecessary noise within our environment. It also helps us to consistently weather periods of high turnover and loss of tribal knowledge. Also, Vanta's customer success team is top-notch and always available to assist.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative or doubtful feelings toward the capability and usability of this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had extremely high turnover and almost insurmountable product and system growth, which compounds every compliance automation concern. Vanta keeps us moving in the right direction with real time alerts and notifications that are easy to action (and delegate to team members).

Some minor issues connecting to pre-existing training by the team.

Vanta is an easy to use, comprehensive security compliance tool that us time and money

The ability to connect, monitor and maintain our deployment tools such as Github, AWS and Jamf keeps us up to date and on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that they are always developing and adding on to their product. This is also a positive as they seem to be agile enough to quickly respond to feature requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has saved us time and money and provided us with policy guidance and ongoing procedure maintenance. Vanta offers policy and procedure templates that can be easily leveraged to develop the just the right policy that my company needs.

Great help to get ready for SOC2 certification
What do you like best about the product?
I am a financial controller in a startup, and Vanta helped me lead the SOC2 preparation smoothly, even without a security or engineering background. Efficient implementation and support teams. Clear UI. Priceless connection with auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features I needed were still under development, and it took some effort to find temporary workarounds (I have to admit that the Vanta support team also helped with the short-term solutions for these gaps).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It became an effective way to cover SOC2 compliance monitoring for the company. Saved time to get ready for the SOC2 Type 2 audit. Connected us with the auditors.
Easy to understand process
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made the SOC 2 certification process straightforward and simple. We were quoted for dozens of hours a week for a minimum of 2 months for a more traditional process and audit, and quite simply, we did not have the time or bandwidth to pull development personnel to the project. By utilizing Vanta's platform, I myself, a marketing person with a good understanding of compliance, was able to handle the majority of the project, only needing to bring in other Subject Matter Experts as needed. This was a huge help to us and we were SOC 2 certified in a relatively short time frame.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to know exactly what is needed to provide for the audit.

Easy, straightforward compliance solution without a major time commitment.

Easy to set up and easy to execute. Professional, helpful, prompt staff. Hoping to get our audit in months!

Vanta has made our journey to prove SOC 2 compliance really easy.
What do you like best about the product?
We've been able to bring the teams around Cledara together in a short space of time to input everything needed and connect up our various SaaS and become audited. Maintaining our SOC 2 is easy with helpful reminders from Vanta and if we have questions the support team is super knowledgeable. I use Vanta nearly daily to ensure we're compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike from my POV - it's doing a good job for us.

Allowing us to demonstrate good SOC 2 compliance and live security posture using their Trust Centre
Easy to use and good support
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has an easy UI. Also, it is intuitive not only for a super technical person, like a developer, but also for an operations person who can easily do the job
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to leave comments on each of the tests. Sometimes I am doing work for some of them and I have to take some notes, and I have to do it on my personal notebook
