Seamless AWS Monitoring That Supports Our SOC 2 Journey
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me monitor AWS infrastructure seamlessly, and it also supports me in working toward SOC 2 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does not capture the data from monitoring devices properly

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the best thing about Vanta is the clarity it provides and the time it saves. Rather than scrambling for screenshots and evidence when an audit comes around, we can check our compliance posture at any time, quickly spot and track gaps, and pull evidence from connected tools all in one place. It’s made audits much smoother and has helped the team focus more on fixing issues instead of getting bogged down in admin work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback is limited customisation. We’d like more ability to tailor tests and evidence checks to our environment rather than fitting into a fixed template. The good news is we’ve been told enhanced custom tests are on the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta reduces manual compliance work by centralising evidence and continuously checking controls across our systems. It benefits us by keeping us audit-ready, improving visibility of gaps, and speeding up audits with less disruption to teams
Proactive Compliance Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I find the interface of Vanta very easy to use as it directs me right to the items that need to be addressed. It's really helpful in preparing us for our SOC 2 Type II audit. It also proactively flags and highlights items that need immediate attention and potential vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be less notifications. I feel like I get pinged via a lot of different channels. They are items that need to be addressed but they are very frequent. Maybe having a weekly summary or being able to opt into that option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to proactively flag items that need immediate attention and potential vulnerabilities, simplifying compliance and monitoring access controls. It also helps us to prepare for our compliance audits.
Easy to Use with an Excellent Customer Support Team
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the customer support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's overwhelming, but I suspect this is more the ISO certification process in itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are streamlining our ISO 42001 and 27001 certifications. They are also streamlining our vendor tech reviews
Easy to Use Centralized Compliance Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta to automate our compliance controls, and I really like its centralized nature and automation because it saves us a lot of time and makes checking our controls much less confusing. The trust center is another great addition since it provides customers with information on our security and compliance without us having to manually send that info or answer their questions every time. The integration process is easy, especially with Google, AWS, and Namely. The initial setup was extremely easy. I would rate my likelihood of recommending Vanta to a friend or colleague as a 9.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tests for the controls seem arbitrary, also occasionally it has issues syncing data from other tools but those bugs are usually resolved fairly quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to automate compliance controls, making tracking much easier by centralizing them across our tools. It saves time, reduces confusion, and the trust center provides customers info on security and compliance. Integration with tools like Google and AWS is easy.
Easy and Structured Accreditation Prep, Needs Better AI
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta is easy to use and well-structured. The initial setup was very easy and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the AI agent when adding screenshots isn't always accurate.

I use Vanta for SOC2 Type 2, and it adds framework and process to getting ready for accreditation.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta for certification compliance for SOC2, HIPAA, and more. I appreciate knowing all the controls I need to have in place and the ease of managing multiple frameworks. The automated tests make it so much easier than doing it manually. I like that it covers multiple compliance frameworks and is relatively easy to use. Starting with SOC2, I was able to progress significantly with HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO27001, completing HIPAA quickly and making a huge step forward with GDPR. The initial setup was relatively easy, and I got it running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The percentage of completion on new frameworks does not really show accurately until the framework is actually activated. They do mention this. The percentage complete on new frameworks should be the same before and after the frameworks are turned on/off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to manage compliance for SOC2, HIPAA, and more. It helps me know all the necessary controls, manage multiple frameworks easily, and share overlapping evidence. The automated tests simplify the process compared to manual work.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides a clear, trackable view of our frameworks, controls, and policies. It also offers many integrations that help us track our internal users, access, and devices. Overall, it’s helpful to keep our compliance work and policies all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve noticed delays with syncing on some platforms. Also, there are too many sub-menus and settings to click through, which makes navigation feel unnecessarily complicated and leads to wasted time trying to find the right page or dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track and remind users to complete their mandatory training and required policies, so we can maintain compliance and stay prepared for reports and audits.
Streamlined SOC2 Compliance without loosing a lot of sleep
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helped us automate several time-consuming security compliance processes on our journey to achieving SOC2 compliance. It's intuitive UI and checklist-driven workflow made setup much faster and helped ensure we were prioritizing the right things. Real-time monitoring and prompt alerts also helped us stay ahead and plan for any inconveniences in a timely manner. Evidence collection and the policy templates were especially useful, saving us a lot of manual time. Integration was very straightforward as well. Customer support was good throughout. We use Vanta regularly to monitor and mitigate potential problems, and I highly recommend it. Overall, it has been a great experience using the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Document versioning can be improved. Vanta if not properly configured, can produce a high number of alerts and emails which then needs to be properly managed.

Vanta solved two major problems for us: manual intensive labor and compliance ambiguity.
1) It streamlined our SOC 2 journey by providing vetted policy templates, so we didn't have to start from scratch.
2) It automated the vendor risk management process, which used to be a mess of spreadsheets and manual labor. We achieved SOC 2 compliance much faster than we had initially and helped build customer trust.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Vanta simplifies the traditionally complex process of managing security and compliance programs. The strong integrations and clear visibility into compliance status save our team a lot of time. It allows us to stay audit-ready at all times while focusing on building and scaling our business without compromising security or privacy. I also appreciate how intuitive and well-organized the platform is, making it easy for non-experts to quickly understand what's required and what's already covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve early on, especially when configuring controls and integrations for the first time. Some workflows could be a bit more customizable to better match internal processes, and more flexibility in reporting would be helpful.

I use Vanta to automate and manage security and compliance, particularly for SOC2. It centralizes processes, reduces the operational burden, and keeps us audit-ready. I appreciate its simplicity, strong integrations, and the way it saves time while maintaining security.
