What do you like best about the product?
This is a very useful product, I like a lot the sandblasting and the web filtering, I think those are the best features it has.
Also like the fact that it is so easy to use.

Nothing so far, maybe they can simplify the manual so that you can use it at the best of its capabilities and mayebe a little better support from them will be appreciated

It helps keep all data safe, with this running on your machines you can stay with no worries at all!

Gets daily updates and has a lot of signatures to detect viruses and abnormal processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes marks legit files & processes as malicious, generates some false positives.

Endpoint devices protections from malware, bots and viruses.

What do you like best about the product?
Wanted to consolidate several point solution to one endpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the web filter service could be improved, it would be great to have self-service user request for sites to be allowed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One pain of glass to all end points, events and incidents which is providing our team a clear picture of the environment. We have already experienced several items that previously just got lost in greyness of multi-solution environment.

Find a good local reseller.
Valuable Blade for Network Detections
What do you like best about the product?
Protection and detection features works very well on network layer and provides detailed visibility. In addition, solution running stable natively integrated with checkpoint environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrated blade has limited customizability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detecting and preventing malicious content, makes the incident response easier with expanded Logging capabililities. Also solution has low False Positive rate. Most of solutions have performance issues with extensive features on big infrastructures however Check Point is not affected.

What do you like best about the product?
We liked the simplicity of Antivirus configuration through SmartConsole, which is very straightforward for our technical teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
We disliked that sometimes the antivirus updates would fail but work the next time without reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved protection issues regarding various threats our end-users may face every day, for example, the files they transfer.

Checkpoint Antivirus
What do you like best about the product?
Checkpoint Antivirus or Endpoint Protect does a great job protecting our environment in multiple ways. We use the sandblast for email security, we use several of the other blades to help protect our end users, and we use web filtering to block and defend when the users go out to the internet. This system does a great job overall in protecting us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The alerting has been tricky to get dialed in to receive the correct alerts that actually require our attention. Also, the time it takes from a new version of Windows 10 or 11 is released, till the time a new version released in the past has been up to 2 months. With the release of Windows 11, it was 1 month or less so that aspect has gotten better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping our environment safe and helping protect our end-users. This is giving us a wide range of support in many areas. The benefits are we are protected and staying protected. The updating of the clients is relatively easy; the new release versions take some time.
Solid antivirus at network layer
What do you like best about the product?
High-level protection at the networking level. Excellent management with smart-center. Antivirus blade comes with a Threat Prevention bundle without any extra cost. The false-positive rate is very low. You can manage, operate using the Threat Prevention profiles is a big plus hence you do not need to install the firewall policy at the same time. It supports multiple protocols http/https, ftp and smtp archive scanning as well normal files. It has built-in performance measures to ensure connectivity. Confidence and performance levels of protections are unique features to ensure the stability of devices. Packet capture and forensics options on the profiles assist the SOC team to analyze the incidents throughly. Smartevent gives the administrator high level security view for the enterprise. MDM global policy usage is a big plus. DNS trap feature is working perfectly. Interestingly DNS trap is inside the anti-virus module not in anti-blade module. Exception handling through the smartlog is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a gray line between Antivirus and Antibot module, and you need to activate both antibot and antivirus for ultimate security. It supports static and heuristic analysis. However, behavioral analysis signatures consume significant CPU. There's a need for TX subscription for sandboxing. It would be best if you modified the default scanning option to increase security. Default settings don't have archive scanning and exclude specific types, whereas these file types can be dangerous. Granularity on signatures is low; you can't get detailed information on what the signature is doing. You should have a TP policy to set and run the modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Antivirus blade ensures the L7 network security is working smoothly throughout the enterprise. The virus database is updated regularly and has protection for the latest threats. Using the DNS trap functionality, we don^t need additional DNS security products or services within the antivirus blade, hence it's working as expected. We have enabled antivirus at the server and client GWS as well as at the perimeter level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use antivirus with antibot and IPS module within the Threat Prevention. Three modules give you excellent coverage. Integrate with SIM solution. Use the indicators for 0day coverage. Try to integrate indicators through the SOAR for agility and increased prevention. Get scheduled daily reports through the smartevent and focus on each event.
