My Experience with Avanan Cloud Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
According to me some of the best features of Avanan Cloud Email Security is the ease of use and how seemless the integration with SIEM is. Also given that it is cloud based, the frequency at which the signatures gets updated is extremely assuring in keeping majority of the phishing emails at bay. As per my discussions with IT team, even the implementation was quite easy as compared to other tools in that we used in the past. The customer support is also quite helpful and we get our issues resolved on pririty.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few improvement areas such as the sanboxing capability needs to improve to ensure that links and files which are mutated can be caught more efficiently
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decrease in the phishing and spam emails getting delivered to the end user

What do you like best about the product?
Liked the easy setup with different cloud based email services like gsuite, office 365.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there shall be free courses related to specialisation in email security allowing users to get skilled and use the product on later stages, same like MOOCs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Liked all the featues since it provides easy integration with various cloud based services and is offering DLP too
Still vulnerability for Zero Day Attack.

Need to work on the GUI and API integration.

Avanan Cloud Email Security provides Email Anti-spam and research Email Security Solutions and effective pattern matching features.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful features includes email security, cloud security, collaboration security, and API security. Most companies do not offer this much of security
What do you dislike about the product?
the downsides would be the cost as it provides so much security. The complexity and rigid customizations may prevent users to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spam emails and its security was the problem for me and its one of the feature solved the problem

Protecting emails from threats like phishing and malware, easily work with services like G Suite.Also, it provides continous updates and having good customer support.

Complexity in initial setup and user interface of plateform

Protecting phishing and scans attachments and links to keep safe and preventing sensitive data from being shared accidentally. Reducing IT workload, and efficiently safeguarding email communications.

Most of the actions are done automatically. Seems to be very efficient with a low false positive rate

The fact that it is needed at all, but it is.

Rather than creating filters manually, this does most of the job and I have to only add exclusions

Avanan is a software which is very user friendly, even with the dashboard, the software focuses on minute details. It can integrate with any cloud technology such as Microsoft, Google.

To integrate with other cloud technologies, it may take time and expertise as the setup is a bit complex.

Benefits of Avanan is that it can be used to detect and discard the spam emails, i.e., Spam filtering. The software is reliable against the emerging threats and attacks.
