Harmony Makes Email Safer and Smarter

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Harmony Email & Collaboration is how intuitive and accessible it is.

The web access is smooth and reliable, and the Infinity Portal makes navigation and management surprisingly easy even for non technical users.

Harmony Email itself feels thoughtfully designed: setting up policies is straightforward, and the interface doesn’t overwhelm you with complexity. It just works, and that’s what makes it stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Harmony Email & Collaboration is the cost it can feel a bit steep, especially for smaller teams.

While the platform itself is solid, the pricing might make you think twice. Also, the official documentation could be more intuitive. Sometimes I find myself digging around or needing to ask support for things that should be easier to find or explain.

It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely an area that could improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Harmony Email & Collaboration helps us stay protected without making things complicated.

It keeps phishing and malicious emails out of our inboxes, which gives us peace of mind. We don’t have to constantly second guess what’s safe to open.

What I really appreciate is how easy it is to set up policies that actually fit our needs no tech headaches, no endless tweaking. It’s made email security feel like less of a chore and more like something that quietly works in the background.

What do you like best about the product?
1. API integration is very much simple and easy.
2. Additionally, it provides the 0365 details in Checkpoint console which helps in tracing the complete email flow.
3.Show IT feature is very much helpful in identifying other security loopholes in the environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
1.Limited third-party email integration via API integration.
2.Sometimes we are receiving more False positive alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides complete protection for email gateways and reducing the risks which are incurred. Requires less management interference as it using AI mechanism for the prevention of suspicious activities and reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Harmony Email provides advanced filtering, threat detection and unmatched security in the email workspace. I like the web interface in Check Point Infinity Platform that lets me see quarentined emails in Check Point and Microsoft 365 outlook, also there are many filtering options to find emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a delay between sending and receiving emails (especially with lots of files) but it's still very fast and usable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filters phishing emails, scans files and text in emails, opens all links through Check Point firewall. Overall it's a set and forget implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
Best feature I like about Avanan Cloud Email Security is its inline feature where it blocks the mail before it goes to the mailbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is only cloud based and it can only be integrated with Office365 or Google Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped in blocking the spam mail and user will be notified about the attachment have been scanned by threat cloud AI

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is how well it catches phishing emails that other filters sometimes miss. It gives clear info on why something was flagged, which really helps build trust in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that the interface can be a bit clunky, some settings are buried, and it takes a while to get used to where everything is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping block phishing, spam, and malicious emails before they reach our users. That’s saved us a lot of time dealing with threats manually and reduced the risk of someone clicking on something they shouldn’t.

What do you like best about the product?
The email scanning and filtering is seamless. Once configured the only intervention you might need to do is when you receive an alert.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Web portal has a lot of options which is overwhelming sometimes, but overall there is little to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Harmony Email & Collaboration does advanced threat protection and phishing detection. The emails are all analyzed and only go to the destination mailbox if the contents of the email are all proven to be secure. There are many policy configurations, which keep our company and users secure.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to implement into Office365 and Google Workspace using the provided wizards for each SaaS app. Just provide admin approval and off it goes making the necessary changes.

It offers a wealth of customizable protection options that allow for fine grained protection for various users and groups depending on your needs.

Simplified management of accounts for customers, quick and easy switching between accounts without re-loging.
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to centralize or copy configurations between clients. Once you find a nice baseline you need to manually update it on each client. This does cause for lots of work as there are many settings that can be applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Harmony Email and Collaboration is solving modern day email, chat, and file based attacks for our organization. It uses modern day approaches to detect and prevent modern day attacks that use non-traditional methods of getting to a user. Harmony is able to integrate with not just email, but chats, and file sharing to monitor, detect, and protect many possible vectors. This has helped our organization protect against increasingly common attacks that target critical business systems in the hopes of stealing authentication tokens and credentials to gain access to environments.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that all links in emails are automatically analysed by Checkpoint and provide powerful filtering and phishing prevention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing cost is a bit expensive. The UI in the portal is not great and is confusing to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's preventing mostly phishing emails but the file analysing feature is also very thorough. At our company the users don't notice that it's even there, which is a big plus.

Phishing emails significantly drop with effective filtering features

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is stopping phishing attacks and spam coming into our users in our organization.

I don't have anything else to add about my main use case or any other ways I use Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration.

What is most valuable?

The best features Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration offers are definitely the phishing filtering.

The phishing filtering feature is valuable for me because it stops most of the phishing emails before they hit the users' inboxes, ensuring that users don't see the infected or phishing emails. It's really good at its job, so it stops at least 99% of the emails that come into our organization.

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration has positively impacted my organization as it has definitely cut down on the amount of phishing emails that are being delivered to users' inboxes.

We have seen a drastic number of reductions of successful phishing attacks, with metrics showing it stops about 99% of the attempted emails before they hit the user's inbox.

What needs improvement?

I don't think Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration needs improvement; it just does what it's supposed to do.

I don't want to add more about the needed improvements.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration for one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration has been very stable for me; I haven't noticed any downtime at all, and even if there's downtime, it fails open, so it won't impact emails.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration's scalability is good, as you pay per user, so it scales automatically as the organization grows.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate the customer support a four, maximum, because I have had to reach out to them, and it wasn't great. I ended up with a technician that didn't actually know how to resolve the issue and was just doing basic level one troubleshooting, so it was very time-consuming to work with them.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used Microsoft Defender before Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration, but we switched because it was very time-consuming to tune properly, and also, most of the emails were delivered to users' inboxes and then removed afterwards.

How was the initial setup?

My advice for others looking into using Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is that it's very easy to set up. I think the setup was done in 30 minutes, so if you decide to go for it, there's not much consideration to be done, actually.

What was our ROI?

I have definitely seen a return on investment, as there are fewer incidents after deploying this software. We have gone from three to four successful phishing attacks every year to a maximum of one.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration is that it's licensed per user, and the price is fair. The pricing is very good and easy.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration.

What other advice do I have?

I can give a specific example of how Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration has helped me stop phishing or spam. We bought this product because Microsoft Defender let through phishing attempts, and one of our users clicked that one. So we looked for a vendor to assist us with additional filtering on our incoming emails. Since we implemented Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration, it's been great. It stops most, if not all, of the phishing attacks against us.

I would rate Check Point Harmony Email & Collaboration a 10 out of 10.
