Professional service that’s easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan is easy to use and I really like that if a feature is missing, their support will take into account and incorporate it into a build
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any email security, dealing with quarantined rules can sometimes be difficult but support always works with us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Infiltration prevention. Avanan has been good at preventing phishing by letting us add rules that automatically prevent those emails from ever beefing seen by users or removing them if we flag them
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perhaps adding a portal to quickly report phishing attempt with all necessary information to quickly resolve and mitigate problem

Really quick and easy to set up + the company are easy and pleasant to deal with

Nothing really, if I had to suggest an improvement, it would be more flexibility in the quarantine email notifications

What do you like best about the product?
It is an excellent tool for the protection of our company, mainly to protect all the means of receiving email with an easy implementation in the cloud, making its use more fluid. In turn, we improve the organization's system thanks to its variable solutions for local interaction methods, ensuring all our own and links, detecting all threats without penetrating through the inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
We detect more threats than before implementing it in our company, but we do not have a unified method through the same platform by which we can eliminate them, but it works for us only to detect and block it, preventing it from achieving its objectives in our business system, this feature leads us to implement an extra complement to meet this need, certainly even lacking this feature we are highly satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We forget about the threats that always try to circumvent the security system we have, detecting and blocking them before they reach the inbox. We mainly decided to implement it in the cloud, and we maintain the same commitment with our organization's email, so we can also save a lot of time since despite being in the cloud it can be implemented as an application and with a few simple clicks, with the same results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is extremely efficient and fast, due to its implementation in the cloud. It offers a very professional analysis and detection system with which all threats that try to enter the platform such as OneDrive, Google Drive and others of its kind, with which it has support, can be detected. Thus allowing to block a huge amount of threats, in addition to this, more than one layer of security can be implemented in the email of your choice, through an easy and fast implementation with which to completely forget about threats and virtual fraud is possible, this with the special interest of blocking and protecting the system from threats.

What do you like best about the product?
The console is very straightforward, quarantining and releasing emails is a breeze and custom query creation is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues tracking resolved items on the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSSP we needed a robust and accessible multi-tenant Email security tool. This checks all our boxed and allows us to prevent any email attacks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The software has been easy to use to monitor email as well as perform any compromise investigations.
Great product for any IT Department toolbox!
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan runs smoothly behind the stage working to weed out any phishing attempts Microsoft may have missed. Organizational users don't even know its running in the background. As IT professionals we appreciate the UI for monitoring our email systems. However one of the best features Avanan provides is customer support! Any issue you have they respond quickly and accurately address your concern.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment in time, nothing. I plan on running Avanan throughout my organization for years to come!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A major hurtle we previously experienced was the amount of phishing attempts making their way through to our end users. With all the training we've provided our users, some of these emails masked themselves very well leading to user click-throughs. In order to prevent this, we attempted to further tighten down Microsoft's filter.. This led us to massive amount of false-positive emails being blacklisted which caused frustration throughout the organization. Avanan uses AI technology to intelligently determine the email's authenticity and automatically decide if it should pass it on to the user.
Robust Defence and Easy UI
What do you like best about the product?
The portal is very easy to navigate and menu options are quite simple
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited capacity to export data. Limited filtering options on security events e.g. date filtering. No application programming interface set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits - it takes care of phishing and spam control.

What do you like best about the product?
This application makes it so easy to manage and remove spam from corporate emails - set it and forget it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface took a little getting used to but after a few tries it gets better

We have reduced the overhead on managing spam emails and reeuced false positives
Easy to Test - Easy to Implement
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Avanan takes 5 minutes to set up. The 30 day trail allows you to actually implement your own rules and alerts. If you are happy with the product, you just purchase the license. If you are not, it takes 5 minutes to remove. This is very different from other vendors that require you to reroute your mail to a third party for filtering. Tech support was very responsive and capable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Forcing SPAM to the Junk folder is less intuitive than it should be for an email security system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have see a significant drop in phishing messages that were getting by the standard O365 filters. It's nice that they show you which were caught by each system so you can see exactly how many Avanan is blocking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's so easy to test that you would do yourself a disservice to not at least give it a look.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of our phishing emails our company was getting was cut drastically. We had a hard time with some of our employees clicking on links they shouldn't and Avanan helped with that immensely.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be hard to search for if an email has been blocked by Avanan and no one was notified. A more comprehensive search function would be helpful.

Sandboxing is one of key features that we started speaking with Avanan for the solution

Fact that sandboxing is made on Avanan server which could sometimes become very hard to explain to clients
