A great tool to use for phishing!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily the interface works, and really how quickly you can update your search. The home page has a lot of relevant information, including a geo-location of where emails are sent from. I believe this helps to quickly check if people shouldn't be sending from some locations. It also gives different colors (Green, Yellow, and Red) to state some that are out of the ordinary to check up on, along with the email addresses and IP addresses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system doesn't work or the system may lag behind when the emails are sent. That can be pretty normal for a SaaS system though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to check for impossible travel, along with blocking Phishing attempts on our company. I also use it a lot for searching if emails come into Office 365 since it is a direct connection to the system. I know that may not be the original intention of the system, but it sure works great that way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at this software. It works very well. I would highly suggest using it.

Check Avanan, it is one of the best BEC SOlutions around, and it will take away all the hassles of your busines email security issues.
Good solution for email security with vary easy and effective control dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
Easy management, with control dashboard that is very simple but effective.
Good pricing, with a modular offer per user (e.g. 4$ pishing, 5 all malware, 8 full protection).
Usefull also for all "mainstream solution" like Outlook, GMail, Teams, Slack, etc. and also data storage.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not a long hystory in the market (I am thinking about Italian market), even if with a grong positioning.
Some gap in role configuration that needs more granularity in terms of setup. For exempla restriction setup in admin profiles.
Some issues with geolocation restrictions in MS office 365 that can be manage with Avanan support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an important company in Italy with many customer data managed. We need protection from hacker and also from pishing, spam, etc. We also work WW (15 countries), and we need to centralize monitoring of the entire activities and issues. With this solution we were able to manage everithing, with good accuracy on alert management and issue filtering. We also add cloud file security managemente after validating e-mail management effectiveness.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent product in comparison with other solution and standard protections. I suggest to verify properly which kind of protection is usefull for your company just to setup once all the system.

We are very much satisfied with this product and we like many features of this. The level of security is very high and the performance is also too good.

We have received many unwanted mails and outer mails which affected our system and we went to the worst situation. So it should not happen again and by deciding this we have planned to use the email security tool.

Sure this product should be implemented in every organization and even for home users. Because we all know that email is the only way communicating way in profession so we must be secured to save our data and secrets.

Avanan offers complete protection within the cloud and all the supporting apps that are secured within the solution. Very user-friendly product and affordable for just about any company looking to boost their email security.

More granular reporting and won't catch every phishing attempt out their but what solution can do that?

Avanan helps protect your MS environment and other supporting applications you have from being targeted by phishing attempts, malware, and ransomware extortion. It does all of this very efficiently and effectively.

Avanan appears to have stopped all phishing messages from getting through to our mailboxes.
The Avanan Mail Explorer is an excellent tool for tracking messages and pulling unwanted messages out of mailboxes. Avanan provides valuable and detailed information on message characteristics and sender reputation.
Technical support is very responsive to questions and requests for feature enhancements.

What do you dislike about the product?
The product is great until there is a problem. We have found the level 1 technical support to be very unhelpful, although account managers, customer success managers, and incident response service have been excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avanan has effectively eliminated phishing messages in our mailboxes. It has prevented a lot of unwanted spam from reaching our mailboxes with few false positives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Our research of email security vendors led us to believe that Avanan's API-based solution for filtering unwanted messages is the best available, and we have not been disappointed. The optional 24/7 managed incident response is an excellent help to an organization like ours with users across the globe.
Gateway configuration not needed
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan, at the time of this review, is one of the few email security providers to work in line with Google Workspaces rather than setting up a gateway out front. This capability provides a simple setup and the ability to get an accurate depiction of its effectiveness during a trial. Avanan also uses some solid security engines for its phishing detection, DLP detection and click-time protection. It offers a lot of capability in one product and builds on what Google already offers in its enterprise suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some bugs in the interface where workarounds are necessary. There is also a gap in user roles available where more granular permissions would be appropriate. I do not like any admin being able to see the whole org's mailflow. This has been brought to Avanan's attention and will hopefully be remedied shortly. The DLP solution is alert only and cannot be automatically acted upon.

We have better protection from phishing attacks, easier mitigation controls, and visibility into DLP.

Easy to use and has a ton of features. Easy to deploy as well.

There is nothing to dislike. It is a great product.

It blocks a lot of spam emails. Has decreased the chance of attacks.

The interface is too blue. But Avanan support assures me that they will implement another color schema.

We have implemented webmail security solutions based on artificial intelligence.
Excellent Email Protection Service
What do you like best about the product?
The service is reliable and I feel like my email is being protected with 0 doubt and I like that It's easy to deploy.

I wish the restoration service could be faster

Email security and don't need to waste time checking for scam emails. More time during the day and peace of mind.
