What do you like best about the product?
The quickness and ease of deployment is one of the most significant features of Avanan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial learning curve was fairly steep, as there is a lot of moving parts to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving email security is a goal of all security providers. Managing multiple clients can be challenging at the best of times, but Avanan makes this easier with their multitenancy portal.
Highly Recommend Avanan to enhance your Office365 Security
What do you like best about the product?
We love Avanan! - Works wonderfully with our MS Office365 and blocks many phishing and spam emails that Office365 does not catch. Additionally, we utilize DLP to automatically encrypt outbound emails. Very easy to setup and use as well... I highly recommend adding Avanan to your Office365 email and OneDrive!

Nothing to dislike - there are a couple of small features that I would like added to the arsenal...

We love Avanan! - Works wonderfully with our MS Office365 and blocks many phishing and spam emails that Office365 does not catch. Additionally we utilize DLP to automatically encrypt outbound emails. Very easy to setup and use as well... I highly recommend adding Avanan to your Office365 email, OneDrive and Sharepoint.
Avana Cloud Email Security best solution against viruses and threats in email and in the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration with the email provider, preventing from that moment any pest invasion in the user's email. With this possibility, the performance of the tool is barely noticeable. This is great because you can focus on another activity with the certainty that nothing threatens your email or files in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the verification processing of emails they take a while to reach the inbox. But it's totally understandable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The process of receiving email was very precarious and uncontrolled in our Organization, which caused several problems with viruses, trojan horses, mainly because we had no way to stop these threats and they ended up spreading across our network and harming most of the machines. And we arrived being victims of a false charge, where we paid a high amount to pay. We found out that it had been a scam received by email. Let's get the value back, but it was a lot of work and expense. With Avanan these problems were reduced to zero. We now have peace of mind when downloading emails and we know that emails don't even come close to our inboxes

I like this product that checkpoint harmony Email because the product can protect hackers

I think that I wouldn't say I like the console and alerts. I want it to be easy to understand from the log.

In my company, it is integrated email on the cloud as Office365. Use for more a lot of email and hard to monitor the log. Now try to use Harmony Email protection. I think that easy to manage our email.

Suppose you find the solution to email protection—I suggestion about this product, Harmony, for protecting hackers and phishing.

I like that phishing email remediation is almost entirely automated and accurate at identifying malicious emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found a downside to Avanan yet.

We are spending less time having to analyze and remediate phishing emails manually. We are benfitting from this product since it has reduced our risk of our users getting legit phishing emails.

I would recommend this product if you are looking to replace or provide additional email security for your company.

I like the easy to use interface the NEW UI is a significant improvement on the system and has made it easy for users to navigate

What do you dislike about the product?
The adding of a client, you have to add permissions gradually. There isn't an option to fetch these from the root account, so it makes it a bit longer to set up tenant's inside of the system as you have to make sure admins, etc are created correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to improve security. We have a spam filter system, but this can sometimes let through emails, but Avanan allows us to add that extra layer of protection and prevent malicious emails or attachments from getting through

the cost is worth every penny and the system is so easy to use for the added security

I've been complaining about the interface for a long time - but on the positive side you can pretty well just set it up and let it run (without much UI interaction).

A truly next generation email security solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use, good protection, excellent support, very east implementation, ability to expend without any problem and no unlike alot of other solutions there is no problems with adding alot of tenants/domains, no support is needed in any of those stanges of implementation, the solution also provides excellent mail flow exploration with lots of easy-to-see and use alerts and information at each dashboard.
also the support is very fast responds and easy to communicate, email/ticket/phone everything is ok unlike some other solutions who like to limmit the support channles to something. from the client and/or enduser side of things the serivce is very good, it provides all information to the end user ( when configured correctly ) with detailed logs on why was the email blocked and a small explnantion about what is phishing/virus etc.
also there is an option that the enduser can request a release of the email by him self and us the administrator recive all the information about this request and one-button release option.

What do you dislike about the product?
For some peple this maybe be a dislike but on ourside of things this is a great thing, no effect on MX. this means you dont need to access your domain and configure the MX to point to the correct server. the main dislike we had with the system if a part of the automation that we had some problems with due our office 365 restrictions (Geo locations restrictions), the support provided a solution and implmnted a way to easy those things in the upcoming releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main consern while choosing an email security solution was the following things: security, easy-of-use for end user, and option to expand. the Avanan solution provided all of those in a smiple matter that takes the hard times of configuring things ourselfs, the service will integrate to office 365,gsuite by it self after providing an administrator credentials, all the rules will be created and all things will be whitelisted. this will take less then 15minutes to configure and less then an hour to be in effect and safely protect the emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your email security solution and think forward a few years from now. Will you still be happy with it? Will you be able to grow as a company or another way around without any money loss/downtime or other not-so-good things? In Avanan, those things are easy and are just a few clicks away. Top-notch security with a lot of customization and the option to do things differently.
Overall Avanan is a great tool to have in your company!

The simplicity and ease of viewing and configuring evrything are, from my point of view, the best thing to have.

The DLP and the dashboard need a new improvement.

We stopped many phishing attacks. And since we have this tool, the users have the notifications from Avanan, and they are more active in mail security.

Product drops in, works straight out of the box without any configuration. send documentation to end users and off we went. Super easy and highly effective.

Customers now understand the difference between regular spam protection and phish protection. Now they see the need and that we can solve it rather than being a lack of skill on our end to stop emails.
