Great product but needs work
What do you like best about the product?
I love that icims is very configurable. It is easy to build reports and it is easily usable with other systems (UKG) to make recruiting and onboarding processes very seamless. It's a great tool that helps recruiters use data to their advantage and be quicker and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some unusual kinks that make icims extremely difficult to work with
- minimum of 10 entrance criteria
- clauses aren't reportable in offer management
- not all fields can populate externally on job board
I also feel like there is a lot of push to an ATS (new icims) that looks aesthetically pleasing but is way less intuitive to use. I feel like there is more emphasis on improving things that don't need to be fixed

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to track a large amount of data and helps us manage candidate pools and candidate flow
iCims has been a wonderful Applicant Tracking System with lots of room for customization.
What do you like best about the product?
It has a pretty flexible reporting system that can literally report on any field you create in the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login group feature isn't unlimited and only has a finite amount of login groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using a single database to house all of our job requisitions, it has been extremely helpful in our day to day tasks of creating job requisitions, posting them and then using workflow to work through the request.
Streamlining Recruitment with iCIMS
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a lot of features for streamlining the hiring process. What we like the most is its user-friendly interface, which simplifies the recruitment process for both talent team and candidates. It helps us to manage everything from job postings to candidate screening in a way that makes the experience smoother and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think for new users or those not very tech-savvy, the platform can be a bit overwhelming at first. While it’s feature-rich, it can take some time to fully understand all the tools and how to customize them effectively.

Sometimes it is a bit slow, when I'm working with a lot of data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iCIMS Talent Cloud helps us to keep all the information organized and AI helps us to feel automatically some information so we don't have to enter it manually.
Powerful but sometimes glitchy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way iCIMS presents information and keeps me on track. I especially like the messaging capabilities and have come to rely on them heavily in my work. There also seem to be infinite possibilities for extracting data for reports which is also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use iCIMS pretty much all day every day. Often there are glitches, particularly with the messaging features which I find particularly annoying. I often have to log out and log back in to reset connections or something. Lots of "bad gateway and inability to authenticate" messages that occur randomly. Some days it's several times a day. Some days it's perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unclear. I work through our company's IT and iCIMS implementation specialists. They seem responsive.
Gets the job done as far as an ATS goes, but requires an iCIMS guru to get it where it needs to be.
What do you like best about the product?
Customization, amount and types of reporting that is able to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support/tech support, long lead times to get things done, many changes require interacting with the help desk instead of allowing system admins ability to do so themselves. Not UI friendly or intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us to keep track of candidates in play and we have devised a workflow that triggers automatic things to happen throughout the process, which is a great time-saver.

What do you like best about the product?
Some pros are its customizations and integrations, onboarding automation, and marketing tools for recruiting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is always a factor and concern for those with limited budgets, and set-up can be time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to accept online applicaitons and increase the applicant pool.
ATS User Review
What do you like best about the product?
The customization is amazing, I was ablre to modify the product to suit our uniques needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Hiring Managers do not get notified when every applicant applies, especially the Indeed Quick Apply which is 90% of our applicants. It is ridiculously time consuming for them to go in and check if any new applicants have come in from Indeed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining and automating our processes, more posting options and having the candidates all in one place.
iCIMS is the first ATS I used and I enjoy many aspects of what is is able to do.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of creation for reports. The integration set ups that are invloved with many outside applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
New iCIMS is still in development and there seems to be many issues with that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no extreme problems that I have noticed as of now other than the continuous improvement of New iCIMS (new version).
