Great ATS with even better support
What do you like best about the product?
Great support and a complex system with a lot of options

Sometimes having too many options can be overwhelming for new users

iCIMS: The ideal ATS!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that iCIMS is customizable to an organization and it's needs. There are a lot of ATS systems out there that do not allow for a personalized experience for the recruitment team and for the candidate themselves, but iCIMS does that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't dislike much about the system. The only piece that may be a bit hard sometimes with usage is training others in it. It's very complex and sometimes the searching/filtering is tougher than what recruiters are used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My role primarily focuses on candidate engagement and I have used iCIMS in a variety of ways to reach goals. We have new content/email campaigns going out all the time via iCIMS Connect, we are more engaged with using talent pools to nurture candidates, and we also have more visually appealing and personalized emails out to candidates due to the capabilities of the system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take the time to utilize a demo with the iCIMS team. If you choose to purchase, they have the some of the best training and resources out there to help build knowledge with the system.

What do you like best about the product?
I have implemented iCIMS twice and both times it has been great. The product and customer service are excellent
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some additions that I would like to see on the reporting side, such as easier formulas, i.e. date opened - date accepted out of box metrics are good but would like to create some for business cases. Also being able to put 1 graph on top of another. I.E. - approved positions are x requested are y and have two bars different colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The insight into informaiton and being able to make more informed decisions

Spend the time to think through the process you want from a workflow and start with fresh data.

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding platform has enabled transparency in the onboarding process so that multiple team members can work a new hire thru the process. We formerly used tasking in outlook which was not ideal.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside I see so far is that the Task, Requisition and workflow reporting is separated. I need to be able to report on pieces of each and its disappointing that I need to maintain 3 or more separate reports to get what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have found many efficiencies and continue to strive for more. Out recruiters are able to better manage higher req. loads and access candidates quickly via our Outlook integration
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know your workflow and what you want to happen. iCims is configurable and can be easily set up . for an organization our size we were able to implement in 6 months which was tight but doable.
Very Customizable System
What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is very user friendly and easily customizable for any organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
When sending an email through iCIMS, we are not able to remove the hiring manager if the email should be directed to someone else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to tell our recruitment/talent acquisition story through iCIMS. Another recruiter is able to come in and see exactly where we are with a particular recruitment.

The in-depth functionality and features for all things recruiting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be difficult to understand and get down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are some glitches here and there, but nothing too hard to figure out.
iCIMS Implementation and Go-Live
What do you like best about the product?
The configuration capabilities are great. The ability to share information across all lines of business is a game-changer for us. Providing a smooth apply process for our candiates is something we were lacking.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like it if iFORMS were mobile compatible and if the hiring manager app had more functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to give all of our field hiring managers direct access to their open positions and all candidates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fully vet out a number of different ATS's so you can determine which one will be best for you. Dig into the pricing details and little items that they sometimes forget to tell you.
iCIMS helps to enable talent acquisition to be a competitive differentiator for an organization
What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is a robust ATS. The dashboards enable recruiters to have a snapshot of everything happening at their desk and the TA enterprise. Reporting is extensive and gives TA leaders much of the information they need to run the business successfully including the ability to view the data in different formats such as reports that can push to excel or that can be turned into a bar or pie graph. Account management helps the partnership thrive and if leveraged appropriately, can be a driver for business goal achievement. Vendor partnerships allow companies to choose a best in breed approach and add on additional components to their core recruiting stack like chatbots and sourcing tools. iCIMS also recently purchased TextRecruit and having the ability to text candidates from the system is a great add. Another recent acquisition of Jibe shows that they are serious about staying competitive in our rapidly advancing industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the reporting is extensive and useful, it can be cumbersome for recruiters to learn. Reporting is the way that iCIMS handles candidate searching in addition to running data driven reports such as time to fill. iCIMS is implementing new ways to make searching easier. The first release is a little too basic but they're working on it. We developed our own iCIMS super user training and it has helped. Candidate searching is not perfect in any ATS but iCIMS offers vendor partnerships that can help automate this action with AI enabled matching tools. Lastly, the HCM feed can vary in quality depending on the HCM. They're making improvements here too, especially with Workday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iCIMS can reduce time to hire, cost of hire and improve recruiter satisfaction and candidate experience. It also enables TA leadership to have a hands on approach through advanced reporting and dashboard capabilities. We like the ability to send candidates automated, timely updates throughout the process both through email and text message.
Working with iCIMS as an ATS has been great.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that iCIMS is configurable. We can update access as needed for all groups to receive the most important information for that group!
What do you dislike about the product?
Security seems to be our biggest issue currently. Between search locks and locking other information down, there seems to be gaps in what we are able to do and we haven't been able to find anyone that functions the way Atria does

What do you like best about the product?
The customization. My VP and I manage our ATS platform and I know we are always thinking of new ideas to improve our process. Oh and of course Thomas Murray our TAM!
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app. Since we have customized a lot on our platform the app limits what our managers can see. Our managers work within hospital facilities and clinics. They are always moving and the mobile app doesn't allow iFORM feedback which is a MUST for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have improved our reporting functionally for our organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iCIMS is great for reporting and also customization. Continuous improvement is always necessary within Talent Acquisition and we have been able to attest that iCIMS is rated the best among other ATS platforms.
