Great recruiting platform
What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is an excellent recruiting platform. We moved from a very manual applicant tracking system, so iCIMS was a refreshing upgrade. It's mobile optimized, has strong reporting capabilities, and is very user friendly both for the company and candidates. We appreciate the partnerships and information we are provided from iCIMS. The support is also great. They are responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike. When I'm creating reports, because you can report on any information in the system, it can take a while to find the right data to build the report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iCIMS has allowed us strong reporting capabilities, a better candidate experience, and more efficient hiring process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iCIMS has a lot of capabilities. Our account manager and technical team have been great resources. If you are having an issue or can't figure out how to fit something in your process or improve it, they are a great resource to tell you the capabilities of the system and offer suggestions.

Choose this as your ATS at least, I used it at another company previously and was happy when my current company choose it
It was very informative, a lot of great new information, great panels, and I enjoyed seeing people.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the live speakers it was informative, the panels that you can explore, I liked the live chat feature as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The badges to get prizes, it was too difficult to get them, and very time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The talent cloud has helped me hire new employees quicker by allowing now jobs to be posted to employer sites and make background checks go quicker. And the layout is nice.

Yes I would recommend other businesses.
Valuable Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ability to have a relationship with the candidate - more so than other cloud based solutions. I feel there is an opportunity to continue to make this better but what I've seen here is awesome. Cloud based products are the way of the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, my current organization struggles to get on board with cloud based systems only from a security perspective. I would like to know more about the support the implementation team would provide (more detailed) to the security measures available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would absolutely be solving the candidate relationship and experience more so than what my company uses currently and it provides more options.

What do you like best about the product?
SaaS solution with a great user interface and easy navigation. Fairly intuitive for end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Backend may need additional work to automate processes. The system is flat and not dynamic like other systems. There are lot of custom work needed for data automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Front end usage is quick and easy and very intuitive; this is always a plus for the end user.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a good implementation team and be prepare for automating data on your end rather than iCIMS' end.
Great tool for data-driven hiring decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Working with engineers and scientists requires bringing data to decisions and SkillSurvey does just that!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there were more life science-specific job surveys such as Biomedical Engineer, CMC, Project Manager, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, etc. Also, I dislike the fact that I only get one notification to finalize a person and not another when other references are received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Side by side comparison tool gives us a great view of two great candidates.

Provide the Manager Hiring Guide along with the survey results

Sometimes it still errors out when sending the survey via text

We can't view the feedback until we finalize the report.

Completely Redefines Reference Check Process for Our Company
What do you like best about the product?
I like that SkillSurvey involves the new hire in their own reference check process. It's no longer having to call people, and it can be done by the reference conveniently at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once reports are finalized, it's a little hard to view the report easily. It seems like it should be more present or obvious, because it seems hidden.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem is that a new hire said that the emails sent to references looked like spam, so they didn't trust it. But I'd say the benefit of having a professional, detailed report available quickly is worth it.

If you're looking for an easy and detailed way to view past work experiences, SkillSurvey is a great resource for your team!
Candid Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
The best parts of SkillSurvey are the ease of sending a text and email too obtain the references and being able to read actual candid feedback from former managers and colleagues. We also appreciate that it integrates directly into our ATS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside would be not being able to ask follow up questions or making sure 100% of the questions make sense for our particular role. But all in all, we love the product and so do our clients. The areas of improvement sometimes get misinterpreted where a reference feels that the MUST answer with something.

Solving the time of having to reach out and hear back from references.
