I would highly recommend Skillsurvey
What do you like best about the product?
Skillsurvey helps us narrow the chances of making a wrong hire by getting valuable feedback from unbiased references.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing. It is a great tool that I have used for many years in HR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to take out all the variables that are made in hiring and making the wrong hire. The benefits are realized in the unbiased feedback we receive from the reviews.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely give it a try and do a demo to see all the benefits.

Some users say it takes too long to complete the surveys, and sometimes it takes days for references to start the process.

Problems solved; reduced hiring manager time to contact references. Benefits, more conversation around the reference check process and results.

It is a great tool to reduce hiring manager stress and give them some time back in their day!

Love how it stores all the applicants, and it also makes my job easier. Provides a detailed assessment.

So far there is nothing that I dislike. It has functioned well.

Great way to obtain references on potential hires!
What do you like best about the product?
Many people are afraid to complete a reference. With Skill Survey, all the responses are confidential. The references feel more comfortable speaking honestly regarding people that have worked for them. We have found the responses to be very helpful in determining if someone will be a good fit for our company and the culture.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any negatives. We use the site for both references and sourcing potential future hires.

Fast and easy way to get references on potential hires. Low cost and requires very little time from our HR team.

Great way to obtain quality references at a low cost per hire.

I like the increased amount of customization for roles in surveys.

Pricing has increased significantly and the product has not upgraded enough.

Atomized reference checks. Also able to synthesize questions and then compile to ensure anonymity of reviewers.

This product makes reference checking simple and effective. The support service is impeccable - and it's moving into the future with texting.

Automation and efficiency for a bottle neck in the recruiting process.
Great resource, saves time and improves insight
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly for staff, the reference seeking employee and the reference giver. It saves time for staff and makes it easy to view responses and gain in depth insight for candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve can be tough for some administrators but wasn't an issue for me personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced staff but increased need to call references, this saves time and makes our work more efficient. Staff works daytime hours but the references we are trying to reach are often available at night so this helps us reach people when its convenient for them, which helps us too.

Ask questions, they can almost always do what you are thinking of, and if not they are open to making changes.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to maneuver around iCIMS! Whether you are an experienced recruiter or just starting out, it is easy to move your candidate through the recruitment process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I enjoy iCIMS, I do believe the reporting could use some improvement. Depending on data size, reports run back to back can yield varying results.

iCIMS has made it possible for our recruiters to track time to fill without the manual side effects

What do you like best about the product?
Organization of candidate profiles is easily accessible and easy to search. Reports can be strategically designed in various personalized ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty in acclimating to what each icon does individually. Somewhat complicated to maneuver and lacks more specific profiling for future uses in search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients love the reports generated with specific schematics for understanding time involved in individual projects.
Candidates information in one platform rather than several as previously incorporated. I enjoy having only one platform to open everyday.

It takes some getting used to but it’s a wonderful to organize candidate resumes and portfolios.
