This makes credentialing so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I don't have to constantly send out faxes for peer references. It's great it will send them out, then send reminders, and you can always check to see where in the process they are by viewing the history. This has saved me so much time. I just started using it for Affiliation requests!! LOVE IT!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we can't fax peer references. We can send them email but not via fax. And that fact that on the affiliation requests the affiliate doesn't have to verify the dates that they were affiliated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saving!

Is truly a time saver.
SkillSurvey has allowed me to receive verification's back much quicker than old way.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the turnaround time is so much quicker than sending through snail mail and the forms look so much more professional and are much easier to read etc. The support staff are quick in responding to problems and questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me personally there are more positives then negatives and I have not found anything that is to dislike. I am completing processing of applications much quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our verification's are more standardized and the turnaround time is much quicker on receiving things back, which is a huge benefit. Our turnaround time has tremendously improved since we have been using this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very quick responses and they are willing to listen to any suggestions for improvement. Definitely worth giving this product a try if you have the chance.
Convenience and speed!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can get a hospital affiliation or peer reference back within a day or two. I've had them back in minutes even. It really streamlines that process because half the time peer refs is what we wait on to complete an application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is double work to enter information twice (once in our database and then into skill survey), but I think saving references entered previously has helped tremendously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The waiting and paper used by sending out manual peer reference and affiliation letters. We are going more and more electronic anyway so this type of system makes sense.
This is so much easier than manually sending individual peer references out.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it creates the peer reference form automatically and reminds the peers that they need to fill out the form if they have not done it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If someone else in a different branch of our department (i.e. the PCS/Corporate) says that the person is complete but then it gets to our level and we end up needing a different peer reference for some reason, then we can't just click a button to incomplete that person so we can send out another one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It creates efficiency--streamlines the peer reference process and ensures that peer references are not forgotten when they are sent out.

lack of clear instructions when sent to the user (who it is from) it often looks like spam

Great product!
What do you like best about the product?
We did not have time to do reference checks on all our new hires. Skill Survey allows us to check references on every person in a minimal amount of time. The rating system and comments give you great insight into the candidate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to understand the ratings better and how the % is calculated.

Better hiring in hopes to reduce turnover.

I like the on-demand platform which expedites the process of collecting reference information

Not differentiating whether a peer or manager commented on strengths and areas of improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional phone-tag reference checking is time-consuming and SkillSurvey expedites this process and we are able to get to offer stage quicker. The insight that SkillSurvey gathers has added value back into professional references
