Great system for organizing hiring prospects
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to see the status of job openings - how many resumes submitted, how many reviewed, and tracking of candidates progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit tricky trying to see if a candidate has already applied (duplicate applicant).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to find qualified candidates for the job openings. Having candidates show up for interviews has been an issue. It's beneficial to show my upper management that although there are many applicants, very few make it through the hiring process.
Recruitment automation made simple
What do you like best about the product?
The iCIMS interface is my favourite thing about the tool! and the People at iCIMS come a close second.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be frustrating at times to work through the helpdesk - not because of the Helpdesk Agents but because there can be a delay in response times due to my location in the Middle East.
I also find the configuration portal a little confusing but it's one of those things that the more you work with it the easier it becomes.
I also find the configuration portal a little confusing but it's one of those things that the more you work with it the easier it becomes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective tracking stands out, information at my fingertips is another (I oversee recruitment operations so it's awesome to be able to keep track of my Team's performance and productivity); great candidates getting access to our career page and this is impacting our recruitment costs positively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure that you have a team who is technically savy and are curious enough to explore the tool themselves as you don't get much spoon feeding from iCIMS. Good idea to have an iCIMS trainer come out and train up the team before the system goes live as no amount of online training can truly prepare you - a day spent working through lots of examples of how the system will work in your environment gives your team an added advantage of having a successful launch.
Very Pleased
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy and user friendly. In the past we have spent a ton of time trying to find the right candidate through several different sources. User names, passwords and manual typing of job descriptions left and right. This is a much quicker process
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I really dislike about the program. It seems as if it is constantly changing and improving to make our lives a little easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staffing issues. It has helped to streamline some of our processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy to use
iCims recruit is a beneficial product with loads of room for tailoring to business needs.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the newly added functionality for my company allowing me to search for candidates by name, instead of only seeing those on my reqs. Integration of background check is useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of training on how to use some of the new features, such as the open hours. It's not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you can have someone who will interface with the company and tailor it to your needs. Impossible to do, depending on your size, and do the recruiting and hiring.
So far, so good!
What do you like best about the product?
Organized workflow of candidates and how it shows if duplicate candidates
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited attachments are allowed-sometimes need to add more files to candidates profile
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filling open roles; when too many on plate helps keep organized
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get additional marketing features
East to use interface
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and easy navigation across candidate and recruiting wrkflow profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requisition and offer approval process does not have restriction to add/delete approvers by the recruiter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use mobile capability to approve/initiate requisitions, candidate profile.
ICIMS for Recruiting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can send in the resume to an email and it auto populates it into ICIMS for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that ICIMS isn't integrated with our HRIS system, making it hard for me to keep track of who I need to hire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use ICIMS for recruiting and job postings. It is easy to upload a resume into the data base. I wish it were easier to look at candidates in a job without going to their individual profile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrate with SAP
Recruitment Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of switching between job posting profiles and applicant profiles. The ability to create notes, upload documents, and customize the reports pulled.
What do you dislike about the product?
The immense range of options for data gathering was intimidating at first before fully understanding how to harness data and create reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a recruiter for an organization in the healthcare field and we will see dips in our applications so it is wonderful to see applicant history and interest to be able to reach out to individuals and let them know of new job opportunities they may be interested in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to allow enough training and tutorial time to really truly understand the depth and abilities of iCIMS as well as the reports/data side. This is a wonderful tool not only in storing your applicants but seeing where they are coming from and for tracking their on-boarding experience.
My expericence is somewhat below average.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I have the option to look up anything in the right hand corner with easy access. I can find any candidate without the hassle of going into the requisition.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how much detail needs to be completed but no fields are marked as required. With integrations we have to have every field filled out and edit fields in order to make a successful integration and it is very manual for the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting candidates into the system and sending them paperwork. It is nice when the candidate fills everything out and we have access to the papers in a somewhat orderly fashion. I like that all paperwork will go into each person the same way and same order as long as we enter them in the correct way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A lot of open communication is necessary with the iCIMS team. You must be willing to put in just as much work as the system in order for it to be successful and useful.
Human Resource Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Keeping applications. Access to email applicants
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a hard time navigating through the whole process. I really only use the applications. We do not have the managers review applications. I email them to the PMs as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing applications. WE are able to retrieve applications from the past.
