Reliable feddback
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of selecting a survey and sending it to the applicant. The confidentiality it provides the candidate's reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more customizable questions and the ability to delete certain questions that are not applicable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of staff hours to call references.

Major process improvement piece for recruitment coordination
What do you like best about the product?
SkillSurvey is a huge resource and time saver for my projects. The new source enhancements and passive candidate reports are also a big value add.
What do you dislike about the product?
Originally thhe dashboard was not as intuitive as it could have been but the recent changes have greatly improved it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Turn around time for reference checks has been completely reduced.

It's kind of a no-brainer.
Have been using for 3.5 months and am very happy with the product and support
What do you like best about the product?
We like the speed at which the references are returned. We like that the specific reference questions tied to the job function. We like the visual rating system and comparative ranking tool. We like how quickly we were able to get up and running. We like how quick we receive a response on what reference survey we should send for a role we have in our organization that is not listed specifically as a job title.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the training is done in a very short phone call. We would like at least 3 follow-up calls over the period of the first six months to takes us deeper into the "power" of this tool and how we use it in a more custom way to get the results we are looking for and also how to share the data with hiring managers, and incorporate our learning into the interview process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced cycle time to hire. More qualitative data on who is the "best fix" and "qualified candidate" for a specific position.

I would recommend this tool - best-in-class.
Great product if you can break old habits

saves time by putting responsibility on the applicant and the reference to complete... well... the reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
it is hard to break old habits of people. this process requires a decent amount of consistency to be truly effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does provide reference information more quickly, and i believe more completely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will get so much out of SkillSurvey if you establish consistent processes to daily work the system. Uploading information of applicants to invite to fulfill the reference information in the system. Sending reminders to applicants as well as reminders to references. Followup with references, thanking and especially addressing those who wish to know more about your business as a potential lead for more business. Also, "filing"... closing out the records so it cleans up the database will make it much easier to maintain. If you establish this as a requirement, with followup phone calls to those who perform references thanking them for their time and assuring them that their contributions remain anonymous... this can turn into a gold mine of new business leads... As a lead generation tool, what more could you hope for than warm leads provided to you while you "sleep"... This product provides that kind of flexibility allowing the references to answer and respond, while commuting, while at home watching football, while lying awake in bed. Anytime day or night from anywhere. And without the regular business day distractions, I believe it provides more useful information.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly, a lot of great resource documents to use the system. Easy candidate management. Customizable for reporting and templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bins are visually annoying to me, nothing that is horrible - I just don't like it

It has createda better ATS for our company and is going to connect more with our HR team.

iCIMS is great.
What do you like best about the product?
Creating job postings is a breeze. The foldering and bucketing systems in the job requisition makes it easy for recruiters to track their candidates status. The dashboards are customizable with different graphs or information about positions. Their support team is great, there is tons of information on their website and their support line is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface itself is very bland. It could be spruced up a little bit to be more enjoyable to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The candidate experience has improved vastly. Also, our hiring managers have found it much easier to submit their job openings to the recruiting team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize iCIMS support whenever you need it. They provide a very inclusive online database for pretty much anything you would need. If you can't find it, someone is always willing to help!
SkillSurvey is Awesome!
What do you like best about the product?
We have used SkillSurvey for all of our reference surveys for over 4 years. We love the ease of use, the "candidate-driven" option and the quick turnaround time which saves on labor hours and results in reference reports that can actually be used for coaching after a candidate is hired and on-boarded.
What do you dislike about the product?
SkillSurvey is very proactive - each new release results in a better, more user friendly platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checking candidate references can be a real time consumer and the information obtained over the phone is often shallow and guarded (not very helpful). The unique focus and design of each survey, as well as the assured confidentiality for responders, results in reference reports and metrics that are actually useful.

Time to complete reference screens has significantly decreased with SkillSurvey and the quality of our hires is much improved based on the feedback we get on the candidates

What do you like best about the product?
Recipients take the survey seriously, and provide detailed comments on both areas of strength and areas for development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, we like the instrument a lot. Don't really have any complaints at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us time spent on "telephone tag" and gives us more complete information than phone-based reference checks. It allows provides us with a vehicle to connect with other potential candidates.

It's definitely a worthwhile investment.

Color scheme. It looks like a holiday!

Hiring more qualified applicants and being able to better tailor their on-boarding based on information we know regarding areas of strengths and areas of improvement
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This goes along with Behavioral interviewing which is very helpful. Surveys are great with questions and number to choose from. Reports are easy to read with lots of great information and will capture information that you would not be able to get otherwise. And it will affect your hiring decision.
