Good results in first year of use
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of the application, dynamic reporting, and ease of the application for our applicants.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like there to be a standard customizable application. We use the standard application that iCIMS has in their library, but we are unable to customize it without a very high monthly fee added to an already steep payment. Custom reports need to be made more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were wanting an applicant tracking system with more flexibility, ease of use, and better reporting capabilities. Once we adjusted to the system, we have found that it is fairly intuitive. The reporting section is much more complicated than it should be, but the reports we are able to pull from the system are almost limitless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a lot of time learning the custom reporting section. It takes a while to master. Also, have all job descriptions and expectations organized before switching. This will make implementation much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is so easy to use and their customer service is superb. System is fully customizable and works as promised.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint that we have is that sometimes emails sent from iCIMS to candidates get stuck in their "Junk Mail" folders because of the way that the sending email address is formatted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system makes sorting though a high volume of candidates painless. Being able to have iCIMS integrated with our payroll system was huge for us.
Easiest Applicant Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS has completely streamlined our entire recruiting processes, enabling us to automate many of our operating procedures, allowing us to be more organized, efficient and interactive with our candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we have configured the system to our department's needs, there have been a few tweaks we needed adjusted. iCIMS Helpdesk has been proactive, responsive and flexible in providing the support we need, and making the system work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on ensuring that every applicant receives a response to their application, regardless of the status. iCIMS makes that easy with their customization features and actions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go through the system as a Recruiter, an Administrator, a Hiring Manager, and an Applicant. Be familiar and understand what your platforms are displaying and how they function.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, configurations, tracking management and friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing aside from the cost, which is reasonable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance with the dreaded OFCCP, internal HR compliance issues and effective candidate pipeline management.

Buy it.

I enjoy how user friendly it is. It was very quick to learn.

I don't like when I have to call support I am put on hold a very long time.

What do you like best about the product?
iCIMS is highly customizable and incredibly easy to navigate. The best feature though is their customer service responsiveness. When I have a problem or need help running a report, customizing a field, etc. I receive a quick response to my tickets or can get a support person on the phone immediately. I have not found this with other providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few of the updates to the platform have made certain features more cumbersome (e.g. information that used to be a click away is now buried a few clicks deep).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our hiring process has been streamlined, and OFCCP compliance has been made effortless through their partnership with Job Target.
Our company has 5000 + employees and we use iCIMS to keep track of interview candidates.
What do you like best about the product?
I can keep track of entire hiring process using this software. It is very easy to understand and follow.
Some other features I like are: 1. Mobile friendly, 2. Outlook compatible, 3. Good reports generation. 4. Linkedin interface etc. . . . . .

What do you dislike about the product?
There needs to be an option to create OR insert my own steps and create a follow up plan accordingly. Which will help me to track things better. There is no functionality to add reminders for myself.
Also the resumes are not sent as attachments. Resumes are being sent as web portal. Which needs improvement.

Centralized tracking, which helps when a particular recruiter is not around or is on vacation. the process does not halt.

Give this a try and you will switch your existing system for sure.
Satisfied Recruiting Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize to meet our specifiic recruiting needs is awesome! Whether is be status codes while moving candidates through the system to the templates and way we communicate with our candidates and hiring managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get feedback about the 'hiring manager' view being difficult, but maybe that is something we can control (still learning all the functionality). Specific to that, hiring managers have no search function to find their jod description templates so they have to manually scroll through 39 pages rather than type is key search words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication between recruiter and hiring manager, and between recruiter and candidate...this is a great system for that. Like every recruiting organization we'd love to talk to everybody in person, but with 500+ openings and 3k+ applicants at any given time, it's impossible for our team of 5 recruiters and 3 coordinators.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product, still learning it's capabilities, but to have a system with this much flexibility is very welcomed.

What do you like best about the product?
Scalable, configurable from the client site without intervention from vendor, reporting features, creation and use of iforms in support of recruiting process. Supports paperless on-boarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of use across the platform of conditional logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End to end management of recruiting process within a single platform. Reduced paper use and consumption, transition and availability of data among hiring process stakeholders, reduced data entry across the life cycle of the hiring process.

What do you like best about the product?
I was responsible for the search and selection that ultimately resulted in bringing on iCIMS as our ATS. The implementation process was a breeze and working with the iCIMS team post implementation has been a great experience. We really view them as a partner and not just a vendor. They have helped guide us through how to best utilize the system and we have both learned from each other.

We haven't had any issues with iCIMS as of yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating our campus and experienced hire recruiting was a big thing for us as well as streamlining reports. The flexible workflows allowed for a more simple crossover between the types of recruiting and their search tool has allowed us to gather data insights we did not previously have access to. The open API has also been a huge benefit in connecting with our home grow campus recruiting application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their staff is awesome. Engage with them during the search and selection process. Ask questions that you don't think they can answer and they will likely surprise you!
