Workflow customization made simple!
What do you like best about the product?
As a newer recruiting team we were just defining and tweaking our workflows when we implemented iCIMS. Once we had each step of the workflow defined, it was so easy to go back in to tweak or add fields if we needed additional information!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that we dislike is that sometimes emails sent from iCIMS to candidates (forwarding iForms for the candidates to complete, for example) sometimes get stuck in their "Junk Mail" folders because of the sending email address format (series of letters and numbers) that does not resemble our corporate email address at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We feel that we are much more organized and workflows and candidates no longer slip through the cracks. We are gaining efficiency in our processes, and that is so valuable! In addition, Social Distribution of our open positions and use of iCIMS by our Hiring Managers has increased both external and internal communication and partnership.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, you will love it!
Great for a mid-sized company
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization on workflow status and tabs, relatively easy to duplicate jobs and create candidates manually. The connect and social distribuition products are strong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of mobile app, reporting can be confusing and the search capability seems limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to consolidate all of our prospect and employee data in one place, it has been nice to have something cloud-based.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure it is the right fit for your organization, if you need to extensively search with it it could be problematic.
User Friendly ATS and OB System
What do you like best about the product?
I find the dashboards and candidate workflows very easy to use. The on boarding portal is excellent for tracking paperwork and new hires have very high praises for its usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Designing reports can be cumbersome. The drop down file system used to select categories is confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using this platform to tap into social media is a goal of ours. We've made some headway and will continue to work on it.
Less than intuitive ATS
What do you like best about the product?
onc you get used to it, iCIMS can be an effective tool for managing candidates through the recruiting to hiring to onboarding process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality is not intuitive compared to other tools I've used. Some commonly used functions require numerous clicks because they are buried. Social recruiting is also lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I move a high volume of candidates through the recruiting process. ICIMS helps to track and document that process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
iCIMS is a good ATS solution but I've experienced better.
Very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. Boolean search ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Boolean option being moved to "advanced search" and not on the screen in view like it was before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
?
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's definitely one of the best ATS's I've ever used in my 13 years of recruiting.
Icims Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can customize my jobs and how I can move my candidates through the interview process. I also like the reporting feature which ensures I am recruiting at the proper pace
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a little easier to see all my candidates under each role. Also, I like to keep things minimal so once I am done with a candidate, I wish they would fall off the job so I didn't have to keep seeing them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping in tracking where my candidates are and that I am staying in contact with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it is easy to use and helps in tracking your candidates
Better insight into our recruiting pipelin
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to build & saving custom reports that I can quickly export and load into Tableau for data visualization. Also having better timestamp tracking for accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing a platform and not being able to parse data between different companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better insight into our weekly recruiting pipeline. We are now able to show Time to Hire, Time to Start as well as individual pipeline stat data and see where we have gaps or breakdowns.
Limited at this time, but looking to expand our knowledge of the features.
What do you like best about the product?
I have found that customer service is excellent. They seem patient and can help with functionality questions very quickly. I was very surprised at their efficiency, which most recently, has been a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there is nothing that we dislike. We actually as a team need to do a better job to learn all of the functionality, so the product can be as useful as possible. We look to address this issue over the coming months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At this time, we are solving staffing issues. Maybe in the future, we'll add some of the on-boarding tools and have our team become more savvy in that regard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would stress the importance of using the product regularly and taking the time to learn all of he functionality. It's a great product, but a lot can be left on the table if you don't take the time to learn it's capabilities.
iCIMS
What do you like best about the product?
-iCIMS is extremely easy to configure. In addition, it is also easy for users (candidates, recruiters and hiring managers) to utilize.
-Reporting
-Customer support is good most of the time.

-Customer support is good most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
- There is not conditionality. This makes it difficult when two types of recruitment scenarios exist.
- Some data should be stored in tables. This would make it easier when data needs to be updated. For example salaries change from year to year. Currently, you must update templates, instead of updating a table.
-Hierarchy should be usable beyond 5 levels. Most large organizations have more than 5 levels.
- Need to incorporate the ability to have a hiring manger proxy
