Lucid Link

What do you like best about the product?
With Lucid Link, I am able to work easily from any location without worrying that slow internet speeds will disrupt my workflow. I take advantage of my Lucid cache, confident that any files I move into Lucid will gradually sync to our shared drives, making them available to the entire team while I concentrate on other tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing files with people outside our team can be challenging. If someone doesn't have a company email address or isn't already set up with a Lucid account, we still have to rely on other storage platforms to share files with external agencies. Customer support assure us a solution is around the corner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is helping us improve our workflows by consolidating all our assets in a single location. It streamlines asset storage with an intuitive and secure filing system, making it easier for our teams to access exactly what they need, while ensuring that access is limited to only the necessary resources.

Game Changer for Creative Teams

What do you like best about the product?
My team can reliably and quickly access our files from anywhere we have an internet connection. Even when working on tradeshow booth layouts and video editing, the team has been able to keep projects moving both in and out of the office. And, in instances where we have encountered issues, the support team at Lucid has been great. Super responsive and diligent - always getting us up and sprinting in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the issues we have experienced with the system have been due to monitoring apps that our corporate IT team has installed on the network - some of which were unknown to us until we encountered an issue. In those instances, the Lucid team has always made time to connect with our IT folks and help troubleshoot a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Lucid, we had an on-prem storage rack that could only be accessed when in the building. If a team member needed the flexibility to work from home, they would have to download files onto their laptop or a removable drive before being away. If something came up unannounced and they couldn't come in, or if a file change was needed on something they didn't already download, we were out of luck. Additionally, the materials and staffing costs of maintaining an on-premises server stack, as well as the infrastructure required to provide everyone with a decent connection, were immense.

What do you like best about the product?
It simplifies the intricate process of remote video editing, making it effortless and seamless. I wish I had discovered this product years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the user interface for granting permissions was more prominent, but once you know where to go, it’s quite straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a relief to no longer have to upload all my video files to an editor and then have them redownload. This saves time, allowing them to get straight to work.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it’s a place to store and operate from. It has the flexibility for us to save and organize all kinds of file types. Most of us use the same software to edit but we have the flexibility to work how we all work together and individually. It’s easily scalable for our team size.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a better structure of how many people could access a drive without everyone having to has a paid plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don’t have to pass drives around or passwords. If someone leaves church too fast, it’s easy to upload for everyone to have access to those files.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how LucidLink works seamlessly with my workflow. It doesn't consume harddrive space on my local machine say like googledrive or dropbox. I am able to upload files and pull from them in my editing software effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only I dislike about LucidLink is I am coming from LucidLink classic and switching over to the new version although more easier still takes some getting use to. I had a files on the old database that I had to find a way to integrate into the new version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink is solving having to ship harddrives after every gig. It makes life so much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink has become an essential part of our video production routine. Before, moving large files between editors and clients was a constant headache—slow transfers, duplicate versions, and endless waiting. With LucidLink, everything feels like working on a local drive. Our team can access and collaborate on massive video files instantly, no matter where they are. It has saved us hours every week, reduced storage costs, and eliminated the frustration of syncing issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge we had was figuring out how to add people to a folder. At first it wasn’t obvious, but after checking the knowledge base the steps were very clear. Since then, no issues at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use LucidLink every day for editing and content delivery. It gives our entire team access to the same assets instantly, without waiting for uploads or downloads. This has streamlined our workflow and allowed us to focus on creativity instead of logistics.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up and relatively painless to use. Don't really need to think about it too much other than paying the bill.
What do you dislike about the product?
Premiere extension is a little clunky / not super straight forward. More or clearer insight into data use and how it will be reflected in the monthly bill might be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to connect multiple editors to the same drive without needing to download or manage files before getting to work.

What do you like best about the product?
With LucidLink, I can open and work on huge files in no time, saves me a lot of time

It’s updated quite a few times per month and tends to disconnect frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink lets me work on big files right away, without having to download them. It saves a lot of time and makes working with others super easy.

What do you like best about the product?
We like that you can access files that are growing within lucid link in real time. It helps us be able to review and edit footage as we stream the show live.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection can be tough when you aren't on super strong wifi. That has nothing to do with lucid more so an individual connection issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storage and asset management. This way we can all collaborator on files as we go during the show and after the show. It helps edit and transfer files in a clean fast manner.
