Simple, Efficient, but Occasional Crashes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that LucidLink is simple to use, straightforward, and can hold tons of materials. It keeps all my marketing and digital assets organized in one place. The initial setup was very easy, and overall it makes my work more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes the app crashes, especially when I have too many asset folders or tabs open, or if I try to use the webpage.

LucidLink keeps all marketing and digital assets organized in one place, which is simple to use, straightforward, and can hold tons of materials.
Effortless Collaboration with a Modern Touch
What do you like best about the product?
I use LucidLink for collaboration, and I find it extremely easy to use, which really helps when working with my team across the country. I like the modern look and the interface, which is easy to follow. I believe it's more collaborative than other tools we've used, like Google Drive. The initial setup was very easy.

Easy to Use, But Customer Support Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I did like how easy LucidLink was to use and we never had downtime. It's just easy to use, isn't time extensive, and when you need it, it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service and support are where LucidLink falls short for me. When we tried to upgrade and needed help, their customer service was absolutely terrible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink for storing CAD and REVIT files. It solves cloud storage issues and is easy to use, working reliably when needed without being time-intensive.
An easy tool for remote collaboration and file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of working from anywhere and being able to share and access projects with the whole team without having to have large physical drives. We can create users so we can share our files with clients and freelancers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Local storage visibility isn't too clear for some employees, when their drives are full of cache files. You can set this but an easy option to safely remove cache files could be helpful, or a visual to see how much storage has been used by Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to leave our office and work from home, so being able to collaborate on projects remotely solves a huge problem.
Your files in the cloud, but with the speed of your local drive!
What do you like best about the product?
The first time I tried LucidLink was honestly out of pure need. My team was drowning in huge files and a total mess of duplicate versions. What really won me over is that it’s not the typical cloud storage where you have to wait forever for everything to sync. I can literally work with my files like they’re on my own computer, but without taking up space or wasting time downloading stuff. They’ve improved it a lot over time too, adding creative integrations and security features like snapshots that give you real peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
That said, let’s be real, it’s not magic. Like anything cloud-based, if your internet connection gets shaky, you’ll feel it. It’s not really a flaw of the tool itself, but it can definitely affect your workflow if your network isn’t stable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The real change for me happened on a project that was a logistical nightmare. Folders everywhere, heavy attachments flying around in emails. Once I moved everything to a shared space in LucidLink, that friction basically disappeared. We were all editing the same files in real time, no downloads first. It wasn’t some loud, dramatic change, more like a quiet improvement that gave us back our workflow and took away that constant fear of working on the wrong version.
Seamless Collaboration, Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like LucidLink for its real-time collaboration feature that allows multiple users to edit diagrams simultaneously, making teamwork seamless. This capability to get instant feedback enables teams to discuss and iterate on ideas in real time, which speeds up decision-making. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there's a steep learning curve; some users find the interface overwhelming, especially those without prior experience with diagramming tools. Cost pricing plans might be a concern for small teams or individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink solves remote work challenges and enhances idea visualization. I like the real-time collaboration; multiple users can edit diagrams simultaneously, making teamwork seamless, getting instant feedback, and speeding up decision-making.
Reliable large-file storage with anywhere access
What do you like best about the product?
It's helpful to store large files and for others to be able to access these files. I can use it from anywhere too – I've accessed files in Edinburgh, London and Cape Town. We can find things easily and can work straight from Lucid without having to download files and reupload them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much – it works for what I need it for so I can't think of anything offhand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work-wise, it helps a diverse team of people in different cities across the world share and access files.
Truly Native Cloud Files—Fast Streaming, No Sync Overhead, and End-to-End Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
Most cloud based file systems claim to feel native but lucidlink is one of the few that actually delivers on that promise. There is no bulky sync engine constantly chewing CPU cycles in the background. It just streams what i need and when i need it. And because everything is encrypted end to end it hits that sweet spot between convenience and security. when multiple engineers or designers need access to shared artifacts, nobody is stuck waiting for syncs or worrying about overwriting someone's work. it genuinely improves flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing to dislike. i prefer more visibility or stronger auto optimization
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with lucidlink's streaming file system, i can open massive files immediately. That cuts down a ton of downtime and keeps me in flow instead of waiting around. My teams often share large files across locations and traditional sync tools created version conflicts or required manual coordination. lucidlink provides everyone working off the same source without overwrites. it offers end to end encryption and consistent performance without needing VPN tunnels or clunky remote file systems.

I use it to have files for Resolve video editing. Everything is great about LucidLink, and the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink for work and video editing, and it makes sharing files easier. I like that I can use it with my team; we can all share files way easier remotely.
It Just Works: Instant Project Sharing for Our Remote Video Editing Team
What do you like best about the product?
It just works, it's as simple as that. My large team of video editors use it to share projects. The majority of the team work from home 4 days a week, and with LucidLink we can instantly share our projects for review and approvals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything I dislike. It's easy to set up and manage, even our less technical colleagues are able to start using it almost instantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team of video editors and producers are remote, but we're able to save our work centrally on our shared project folders and as soon as an editor has finished revisions they can flag it for feedback.
