It's a good tool depending on what you plan to do with it.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to work from almost anywhere with little to no issues. It was relatively easy to set up and use. For a new user to start using the tool it does not take much training or knowledge of how the tool works to use it.

- If the LucidLink Service goes down, you will be dead in the water.

It's pretty straightforward! I like how simple it is and how fast my other coworkers can access things that I upload in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if it's a LucidLink issue, but when we use it on a Windows computer, sometimes it doesn't let us change the name unless we completely restart the computer, but this only happens on Windows, so it's a little annoying. But other than that, it's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant issues were the time-consuming processes of downloading and sharing files, especially large ones, which became even more challenging when working collaboratively with a team. These tasks used to slow down our workflow and create unnecessary frustration.

The BEST Cloud Based Editing Solution.
What do you like best about the product?
As an editor who's worked on platforms from Avid, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere for almost 2 decades and someone who has used a NAS and SAN system for storage for projects/Videos, I can honestly say that Lucid has been the most pleasant experience. It's fast! For how it works it's extremely fast and reliable. Knowing that all my footage and assets are secured in the cloud and that my entire team has access to all my files in real time is amazing and helps with collaboration. Lucid Links team of engineers and editors have helped make the transition to their platform painless and easy. They also have been there along each step of the way. I can't recommend them enough to any post house or editors looking for a cloud based editing and file storage solution!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found to many downsides. There was a hack that happened not long ago where we were not able to connect to Lucid but they quickly resolved it and kept our entire team informed the entire way. Very transparent and honest team behind Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we had was collaboration and having all of our files in a central location that our team of editors and producers can access in real time. Lucid solved all of this.
Best cloud based file storage in the market
What do you like best about the product?
our company uses Lucid link company wide. we have a lot of team events and obviously that comes up with media coverage, photos, videos etc. The best feature I like about lucid link is that it enables teams to work on large files simultaneously from different locations, improving productivity.
We are a marketing company so we always have huge media files to store, lucid link takes care of it seamlessly.
We are a marketing company so we always have huge media files to store, lucid link takes care of it seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it's cloud-based, a strong and reliable internet connection is essential for smooth operation. Poor internet connectivity can affect performance.Unlike local storage, LucidLink’s functionality is limited if you need to work offline, which can be a drawback in situations with unreliable internet access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Works across various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), making it versatile for different team setups. Not all software is compatible or work in the same capacity as they would in all operating system, but Lucid link does the work.
