What do you like best about the product?
I really like that LucidLink is cloud-based but also works like a local drive, allowing my team to share files in real time, which is a huge time saver. It's easy to work with Design software, and the files are accessible without the hassle of downloading and reuploading. The ability to connect from anywhere in the world is very beneficial for our team, as it supports both local and global collaboration. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the tutorials and training provided by LucidLink. Overall, it's a great product for remote teams to work together with ease.

Some symbols in file names are not possible, which is a little frustrating due to some instances where it's required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink eases remote collaboration by acting like a local drive in the cloud, saving time on file sharing without downloading. It facilitates global team access and enhances workflow for design tasks, surpassing OneDrive in real-time file engagement.

Lucid link

  • February 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink makes remote collaboration effortless. The ability to access large files instantly without downloading them is a game-changer, especially for teams working with video, design, and other heavy assets. It feels just like working off a local drive, even when you're halfway across the world. The real-time syncing and file-locking features also prevent version conflicts, making teamwork much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
While LucidLink is great, it does require a strong internet connection to function seamlessly. If your connection is slow or unstable, you might experience lag or delays when accessing files. Also, the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or solo users compared to traditional cloud storage options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink eliminates the need for constantly downloading, uploading, and managing massive files. Instead of waiting for transfers, I can start working immediately, saving hours of wasted time. It also makes collaboration with remote teams much easier, ensuring that everyone is always working with the latest version of a file. This has significantly improved workflow efficiency and reduced frustration when dealing with large assets.

What do you like best about the product?
From sign up to collaboration, everything about LucidLink is thought through. I initially started using it as the company I work for used it, but now I wouldn't be without it. It was easy to get set up and join an already established group, and now I use it every week. And of course, it makes my life as a creative so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
No bad bits from me so far, but I am yet to use their customer support so that's one thing I can't comment on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy way to store share and collaborate on files. Saves long download times and file packaging.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the other party can start editing as soon as you start uploading. This is really great. The pricing is also not to bad, although not cheap. We still use LucidLink classic as that seems to be cheaper for us
What do you dislike about the product?
For Mac you need to go to the BIOS to change settings when using LucidLink Classic, which is not so great. I believe this has been fixed in the new LucidLink.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with multiple people on the same files, without the need of downloading them before starting editing. Also storing the data safely and still have it quick accessible
