Lucidlink transformed our cloud editing capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Found the file transfer extremely fast and the pricing has been economical for a large team like ours. I also have found the platform very stable however it can slightly slow down when doing file dumps over 30-40 GB at a time
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more effort put into education/academy to teach users how to get the most out of the product especially when connected to Adobe Premiere
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating and editing video is almost impossible using conventional services like Dropbox and Google Drive so Lucidlink has been a great way to faciliate this and take our creative capability further

What do you like best about the product?
The technology is indistinguishable from Magic. I love that end users dont have to really learn any new, complicated front end software in order to use it. Being able to use a Lucid filespace just like any other network mount or external storage makes it super easy to onboard new creatives to the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of "consumer" level 2FA (and not just SSO based login via Okta, etc) is kind of a bummer when working with small companies or freelancers who dont have an SSO platform implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration with large video files.
Lucid Link is Simply Amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid link works transparently on a Windows network and makes it easy to share files with other platforms. It is also the fastest service I tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, but I would like the Linux and macOS implementations to work as seamlessly as the Windows one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of sharing files with content creators and clients. They just need to install LucidLink and they can use their preferred review tool instead of being limited to what the Web offers or to a vendor's review tool.
Easiest way to make cloud storage work
What do you like best about the product?
Is fast, doesnt have egress fees and you can set it up with your own storage provider

no real option for freelancers or individuals

fast sync and setup for all the parties involved and local caching makes it work seam·less·ly
Any editors dream!
What do you like best about the product?
What's not to like? Cloud based footage, integrated folder management, in-depth user controls, a fair monthly price. It makes working with a team of editors a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
If your internet isn't the best, sometimes lucid can be slow. But it hasn't been terrible in my personal experience, even with 5 MBPS download internet in a coffee shop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink helped us solve the problem of "how do we an another editor without having to share hard drives or add a crazy expensive server"

I like that it keeps everyone in sync. The tool is great for video

syncing a team spread out over a distance. the customer support is also great.

It helps keep me working from home. It eliminates needing to commute.

It's a great software for sharing big files. Easy to set up, add users and start collaborating with your team. It feels like operating within your local storage. LucidLink has a good support too. It's great for remote work

I don't often download apps, so that was a little strange for me when setting up.

Great for Some Business Needs
What do you like best about the product?
We love the options that are offered for cloud storage and how easily folders can sync and upload. While we ultimately haven't have a bymusiness use case to invest in using LucidLink, I feel like they're a company we will use in the near future.
What do you dislike about the product?
The install process on a mac can be confusing, especially when you don't have rights access and have to invole an IT team to assist with install and permissions settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're namely a remote group of video editors so it's great for upload of footage and then data transfer with internet speeds permit. :)
LinkLink works silently and seamlessly
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink performed flawlessly for us. The co-editor and myself enjoyed it without issue. However, the highest praise came from our Creative Director / Co-owner who said “I constantly forgot we were using Lucid unless someone said it’s name. That’s how well it worked!”
What do you dislike about the product?
Billing structure required some explaining after terminating the service (due to end of clietn contract). Customer Support was patient and kind explaining it to me.
