Lucidlink is great

I have multiple accounts due to how my business and clientele work, this causes confusion and tedious work to connect properly sometimes and hard to switch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smooth remote workflow is paramount in today's video editing landscape.
Easiest File Sharing Software I've Experienced
What do you like best about the product?
I work in a production company so it's always nice to be able to share files so quickly once someone is set up even if they're halfway across the world. It's so useful and easy to use! It's also so easy to implement and integrate in a team setting and have a whole group of people work off of one file without the need to download it onto your desktop. I use it fairly frequently (every day) at my job and it's been such a great experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It slows down my computer when I upload large files to it. It's quite cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing my teams to collaborate more easily so that file sharing is quick and painless. I'm also able to share briefs and resourcing with freelance faster and get them onboarded into our internal system more efficiently.
Cloud based editing…they actually did it.
What do you like best about the product?
Video editing with lucidlink is seamless. Mounting just like any other drive makes it so easy and then you just work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes large, overwhelming files (lots of layers, etc) can bog it down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating Dropbox or other complex ways of transferring files. We use it in our VFX workflow for sending plates to VFX vendors and recieving them back and it's great. Most vendors even render directly to the luicdlink space so we have it immediately.
Gamechanger for the production industry
What do you like best about the product?
With our global events output our team is distributed internationally and LucidLink transformed our approach to workflow and as a result our pipeline.

You are at the mercy of bandwidth even if it's limited. No connectivity = no ballgame.

Seamless Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is incredible. I use it frequently. It was very easy to install and setup. It works realtime with even a modest internet connection. The price point is very reasonable for the amount of storage you get. Working with fellow editors is easy as well becasue they can log in and use the same footage. No need to setup all of the different dropbox or drive features and their customer support is amazing. This is a must for any video production studio looking for an easy solution to integrate into their workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There does seems to be a lag in system performance when connected to LucidLink but it is very minimal and does not dissuade from continuing to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid link solves the pain point of having to deal with Google Drive and Dropbox folder syncing. It shows up just like any drive and you use it just like any hard drive. Doesn't clog up your system storage and is extremely necessary for my line of work.

Love that our team can work anywhere and we are able to be more independent among offices. the implementing was also really easy and their support is very responsive and everyone is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
wish we were able to create share links for files

they are working on an option to share links with those outside the organization and without the need of installing the client onto their machine. this will allow us to share large files with clients and consultants much easier!

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is wonderful - makes collaborating remotely super easy and efficient. I can work with clients in a much more seamless way than sending files through alternative means.
What do you dislike about the product?
The installation and update process can be a little finnicky due to the addition of security features in recent versions of MacOS and Apple silicon computers. I had to boot into recovery mode in order to change the security settings I needed to for installation on my new Mac Studio.

Lucidlink is facilitating more seamless collaboration with clients from various companies.

What do you like best about the product?
Our team is very small and completely remote. LucidLink is a fantastic way for us to share and store files. Its so seamless we forget we're using it!
We've also been using it share with vendors/outsource teams and its been so simple to onboard new members and connect with the teams.

After over a year working with LucidLink, I really don't see any down sides to working with the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our team is remote and working from home, we weren't able to house a main server for our project. LucidLink has solved that issue and allows us to use our cloud storage like it was a server on our computers.

What do you like best about the product?
At first a client and I were shipping drives back and forth, but once I found LucidLink all that was solved. You can stream the files directly from your lucidlink instead of having to download them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is kinda high, but that is remeided by the usefulness of the software.
