What do you like best about the product?
I like LucidLink for its security and privacy, especially how all files are encrypted on the client side before leaving my device. I enjoy the real-time collaboration features and appreciate the instant access to large files as it streams files directly from the cloud to all users. The initial setup was very easy and smooth, which I really liked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find LucidLink's high bandwidth dependence to be a drawback. It requires a stable, high-speed Internet connection for streaming files on demand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink allows me to stream and edit large files directly from the cloud like a local drive. It encrypts files on the client side, enabling secure, real-time collaboration. Instant access to data is useful, though it needs a stable, high-speed internet connection.

I use LucidLink to instantly access and share massive files from anywhere, like they're right on my local drive—no waiting for downloads or syncing. LucidLink solves my biggest headaches: waiting forever for huge files to download or sync, and not being able to jump straight into editing massive projects from anywhere without copying everything locally first. What I love most about LucidLink is how it makes massive files feel instantly local—no more waiting around, just seamless editing from anywhere like magic. I value LucidLink’s instant file access and File spaces the most because they let me jump into editing huge projects from anywhere without ever downloading or syncing massive files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find occasional lag when streaming super high-res or raw files over anything less than blazing-fast internet frustrating. The heavy reliance on a solid connection is a downside—if it dips, everything slows down or gets irritating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink to access and share massive files instantly from anywhere, avoiding long downloads and syncs. It removes the need to copy projects locally and provides seamless editing like files are local. I love how it makes huge files conveniently accessible and enables quick edits.

What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink enables my company to expand its production and post-production capabilities to professional creatives, not only across the country but across the globe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can be the biggest drawback when working with LucidLink. For smaller productions, it is acceptable, but once you get into the 100s of terabytes, it becomes difficult to get approval for the budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with artists from editors and VFX to sound and graphics from anywhere with an internet connection lets me work with some of the best without the hassle of shipping hard drives or raids and making sure everyone is using the most updated versions.
Handles Large Files, Anywhere Access
What do you like best about the product?
I use LucidLink to collaborate with friends and collaborators by sharing files. The storage is particularly nice and makes it easy for everyone to access. I like that it can handle large files easily and makes them editable from anywhere so that I don't need to be at my office or home desktop.

The starter is somewhat limited. The starter subscription does not allow really large files and often limits how much you can do.

Promising Start with LucidLink, But Needs Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I think LucidLink seemed pretty great, and the usability seemed like it was easy. The initial setup was pretty easy, even though it ultimately didn't work out for my computer. I also believe it has a lot of potential, especially if it gets some updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't get it to share my files, or it took a long time. It just wasn't working for my computer, even though I'm using modern gear like an M3 Pro Mac. Something within the software just needs updating. I wasn't able to get much use out of it and wasn't able to use it to get the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to solve file sharing issues but couldn't get LucidLink to work with my setup, though it seems promising and easy to use.

Seamless Remote Collaboration with LucidLink allowed multiple users to edit the single file in Realtime
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that with LucidLink, someone working in a different city can use the same program. It's straightforward to just have them install it and log in, and the files are available for them at the same place. It allows multiple users to access the same project we’re working on, even across different time zones and cities. Setting up LucidLink was super easy; it was just a matter of downloading the software, and it quickly became second nature for us to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if your Wi-Fi connection is not great, the connection speed slows down. So when you do a save or a refresh, the reload can take a couple of minutes. It's just sitting around doing nothing and waiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink to allow multiple users to share Revit files, ensuring teamwork even across different cities and time zones. It's like having a virtual workspace where team members can join the same project easily.

I like LucidLink because it's easy to change permissions for different members of the team, which is super convenient for our global collaboration. Also, it's easy to use, making it a very effective tool for video editing in a small team.

I've had trouble contacting anyone when I needed more information when setting up LucidLink. The initial setup was a bit tricky due to a lack of information.
