Highly recommend LucidLink!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the ease of use. I also felt like the customer service (so far) is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the connectin is poor. Not sure why. Also, the user interface can be a little ugly looking. But as far as if it works, the answer is yes. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was in the market for a NAS for collaboration with editors. But I didn't want to spend over $2K. Also, LucidLink was only $20/month. The price point and the easy of use for all parties attracted me.
perfect fit for an architecture/engineer company
What do you like best about the product?
fits our needs perfectly at a great value
What do you dislike about the product?
uploads speeds can be slow but may be our internet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cloud storage that works with Revit and autocad
Lucid for multi user file sharing
What do you like best about the product?
It's a really simple interface to connect all business users into a familiar architecture. The 'file share' function that enables pin pointing of individual files or folders is really helpful for collaboration.
Allowing admin to ring-fence certain folders or files means we can allow access to freelancers without them wandering off into our server. Once we had our set-up customised, there was very little need to maintain from our side.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the indexing takes time if you've been off the server for a few days. At the start back from holiday or festive breaks, this can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the storage across the business, one side use the Wasabi platform and the moving image team use an IBM server, both are now accessible and we can share between each server
Lucid Changed Everything
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid for me and my team has replaced the need for sending hard drives overnight. Our whole team has access to all footage, assets & project files. It is super easy to install, share projects and onboard people to projects. Customer support and their help center have all the answers you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team does not need to ship hard drives back and forth when handing off projects. Producers can, with a good internet connection, upload footage the night after the shoot and the editors have it the next morning. Passing off projects is so easy because all of our assets are in one place.
Lucid has been great for ease of accessibility from various points across the country.
What do you like best about the product?
* ease of accessibiliy to the information stored on lucid, from multiple locations (even across the country)
* the ability to grant multiple access levels to individuals
* the interface and integrations are both great

What do you dislike about the product?
* sometimes a locations firewalls and or internet security settings create a major hangup - is there a way to identify what the hold ups may be?
* the syncing circle is great, but is there a way to show how much longer syncing will take?
* Not a dislike per se, but the cost per month can be a barrier between those who are leaving what used to be a "free" option (a la Box) and are now looking for a new cloud based storage option.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a company that works on multiple projects at one time, with many TBs of data that need to be both stored and accessed for any length of time (one day to a year plus). Lucid is the cloud based system that the company uses for our various employees across the US to access the project information and work from.
I use Lucid Link every day
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it makes it so easy to share files with my peers. Customer Support is always super on top of it as well. Downloads an installers, and updates are super easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it takes up so much bandwidth to upload.
I'm on Mac OS14 - and i noticed that sometimes when I delete a file from lucid, it will leave a "ghost file" of the file I deleted that I can't move or delete. It only goes away when I dissconnect and then reconnect to the filespace. Just one of those funky little quirks I guess.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having issues sharing files remotely with peers. Now it's not even a question. Lucid makes it super easy to share the latest and greatest data securely.
Amazing online storage solution for multi-platform envioriments
What do you like best about the product?
Super fast servers and option for lucid specific links which work across multiple platforms/operating systems. Sharing links between PC and Mac users couldnt be done easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Still quite poor UI for end user, missing some upload/network stats, i.e. upload status for individual files, remaining time to upload etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast, reliable storage and cross platform suitable links to files/folders
Been a great asset for our virtual team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep our raw video files and photos within easy reach for each member of our virtual team has been a real time saver and I didn't have to be an IT expert to use it or get it set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes our uploads are a bit slow but might be an internet issue moreso than a Lucid Link Issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps large video and photo files available for the whole team to access as needed at an affordable price.
Super efficient file storage for a team
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is like Dropbox on steroids. It is crazy fast and in fact when two users are logged in at the same time, you can watch the other person making changes to your file in Finder or Explorer in real time. The changes are saved and walaa, you're now free to make your own. After our much maligned experience with a Microsoft product that could not ever seem to sync our files, LucidLink is a breathe of fresh air. The fact that they passed our legal teams inspection, IT and were able to get us set up with SSO is just an added bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of one, it works perfect for our use-case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing files amongst 50 users is a pain in the butt, but LucidLink has taken all the stress of that way. It literally works perfectly.
This is the future of nation-wide collaboration. Never buy, or ship a hard drive again!
What do you like best about the product?
User centric design. Very easy to implement with no need for specialized skills. Excellent customer support, you don't feel like an annuity. Top notch security and design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a data center in Western Canada.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nationwide cross-collaboration and security of assets.
