Best Thing For Remote Work Since the Internet!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to use the directory to be able to edit my video files while working from home. It allows seamless workflow from one content person to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I do have connection issues that hinder my performance, but overall that is usually a symptom of my own internet problem rather that a LucidLink outage issue. Those are rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink is reducing the time spent transfering files from one content creator to another while allowing the review and share features in the Adobe suite to be used to their best capabilities.
LucidLink is like magic - a NAS in the cloud that appears to be local
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink allows me to mount a 'FileSpace' as a local drive. Not only can the FileSpace be larger than my laptop's disk, I can edit individual files that I could not fit on my local disk.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My media & entertainment customers combine LucidLink, for live full-resolution editing, with Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage as an S3-compatible long-term archive.
Fluid experience for end-user and detailed, transparent breakdown of pricing
What do you like best about the product?
In my experience using Lucid Link, it's a an incredibly powerful way to instantly make a Premiere Pro project collaborative. I was able to share a Cloud share mount with my team of 3 and we could all be within the same project via bin locking, and updates would be lightning fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be nice if Lucid Link also supported Avid Media Composer bin locking out of the box but I realize this has to do with software licensing too. However, if there was an add-on payment feature to enable Avid Workflows, I'd easily pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business-wise, I love how detailed and transparent the cost breakdowns are every subscription period. Lucid Link lists all the costs, shows the per GB rates and even estimates what the next months cost might be based on current usage, and that's tremendously important when you're a small business trying to get the most value out of a product. It also portrays Lucid Link as a very honest company and allows me to recommend them easily to colleagues and friends.
Great service
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use. Some of the best support I've dealt with. Devs willing to jump on a zoom call within 24 hours. One of the best companies I've dealt with
What do you dislike about the product?
It's quite expensive but that will probably change over time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering massive files across the globe is seamless. We work with projects that are upwards of 700TB and Lucid makes it a breeze
Easy to use, reliable. A great solution.
What do you like best about the product?
With a good internet connection, lucidlink is like having a hard drive plugged in. Except a hard drive that all of my colleagues can access remotely. It's a great solution and has changed our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bandwidth is a big bottleneck, but pinning does help - if only I could get the hang of it properly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an entire edit team of 5 editors working remotely all over the UK is difficult. Now we can share assets, projects and rushes with incredible ease.
Essential for my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Effortless syncing for files between my machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little, the only issues I have are with my poor internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing remote creative work which was not possible or as effective with google drive.
LucidLink - a great cloud file storage platform
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is a great platform for file storage, especially images, across various locations. It's an excellent option for marketing teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidLink has the ability to be used through an app that is installed, or as a mapped drive. Sometimes those who map the drive lose that mapping, but otherwise the platform works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink allows our marketing team, sitting in various geographic locations, to work collaboratively on projects. It handles file locking and thumbnails very well for graphical data.
LucidLink Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work remotely with a huge amount of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes on slower internet connections it's tough to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A massive storage bank in the cloud.
Great solution for remote teams and workflows.
What do you like best about the product?
I love collaborating with remote teams on one platform, eliminating the use of typical hard drives, and sending footage via old-school ways like dropbox etc....
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still in a trial period and about to do onboarding; therefore, I don't know what I may not like about it yet. Hopefully, there won't be anything that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Honda, we have different teams spread over the country and need a solution to bring everything together under one roof. While we are still in a trail period, I'm hoping that LucidLink will be a great solution for us.
Super simple and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Secure and fast! I feel like it's the easiest way to back up my files without thinking too much about it. I like that if I need to I can set it up on another device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to restart my computer after updating a lot of Lucid files. Not sure why this is, but it seems to be a resource intensive product sporadically
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storage, backups
