Great for our small team
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has been awesome for our in-house video team. Using it with team projects in Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve has been a game-changer. Very fast and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Lucid will do something weird, like it'll just stop uploading a file, or it just randomly refuses to download a file, or maybe it won't show up in Finder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote editing, especially with multiple people accessing the same assets and project files at the same time, within shared projects.
Unfortunately never got to experiment with sharing collaborative files
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the idea of Lucidlink, and how simple it was to install. Outside of that, I unfortunately never got to use the software for the reason I intended, because my teammmate who I share files with was not interested in using the product
What do you dislike about the product?
Again, not very sure since I didn't get to use the product like I had originally intended to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to share .indd files with my teammmate and I was directed to this application. I am not sure if it works or not, or how well it works since they were not interested in using the application on their personal computer and we are a small team that doesn't have company provided hardware
file sharing that works with CAD
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink maintians the file locks that CAD applications like Revit and AutoCAD need to work in a multiuser environment. There are very few solutions for the problem of working with CAD files in a distributed environment. It's also fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can say against it is that I wish it were less expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For remote office and home workers it eliminates the need to all be on the same LAN to work on CAD files.
Seamless integration to our ecosystem
What do you like best about the product?
It is really plug and play with our existing systems and processes. A very welcome addition. Upload and download speeds are great and stable and it seems like there are only more ways we can get fuction out of LucidLink.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything to be upset about quite yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a film production house that use lucidlink to avoid the reversioning of project files over and over again to avoid losing any work as well as saving a ton of time not having to relink media.
Innovative, but not complete.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to mount a cloud drive and interact with it like it's a physical drive right on my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bandwidth and pinning limitation for video workflows that utilize large file sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has remote employees from Tennessee to California. LucidLink enables us to quickly share files and projects for review and confirmation, as well has consolidating our resource pool.

No need for VPN, very rapid. Snapshots are a game changer

I don't think there are any dislikes yet with LucidLink, we enjoy it so much

What do you like best about the product?
The service is amazing for those that need to colaborate on media projects. Two users anywhere in the world can work on a media file at the same time. I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a mobile app version of their service.

Everything is working well at this time.
It's a breeze to use and tough to misplace.

Speed, consistency, great for back ups , share and collaboration.

Revit Central Files
What do you like best about the product?
LucidLink is a game changer for Revit Central Files. It allows us to collaborate on projects throughout our office and across offices. It's much simpler and less expensive than Autodesk BIM360.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs to provide the option to share a links to files externally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no other cloud storage platform that allows us to connect to a single Revit Central File.
Works as advertised, super simple.
What do you like best about the product?
We tried this out as a solution for video editors sharing work. It worked pretty well. Very simple, just install it and go to work!
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints, really it was simple to install and just worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing between different video editors all at once. Not just syncing but actively working on projects.
